Marts [del] to All
Hi!

What about organizing a Baltic Cup (for U21 teams) next season? (Estonia-Latvia-Lithuania-Suomi)

One group and 3 games to all teams. What do you think?

e: probably in week 10-12 or something like that.

Lithuania (basically) agreed.
2012-09-18 16:24:35
Latvija agreed!;)

Great!

Now I wait the answer from the coach of Finland (he probably says yes). :) (I think. :D)

Finland is also in!!!

Although there is time, then Mysi (the coach of Finland) told me to ask you, if you prefer a U21 or U20 tournament. (U19 would be useless IMO, because there are too weak players)

In the near future I will also make an official forum topic etc.

Perhaps our NT-s want to organize similar tournament?

So, the first games will be played already next Friday!

Anyway, wanted to say that I would rather make it an U21 tournament = I will use mainly 21yo players in my fixtures. Although, imo I think that managers can make deals between each other, so you can make an U20/mixed game with your opponent(s) also, if both sides agree. The main reason, why I prefer U21 games, is that I think it is slightly too early for full U20 games, thats all. Next generation gets their chance next season anyway, so no big problem. Hopefully it is OK for you as well.

I will try to create the fixtures today, but I will probably do it tomorrow evening or most likely on Thursday.

Stay tuned!

Fixtures:

30.11.
Estonia U21 vs. Latvia U21
Finland U21 vs. Lithuania U21

7.12
Estonia U21 vs. Lithuania U21
Finland U21 vs. Latvia U21

14.12
Estonia U21 vs. Finland U21
Latvia U21 vs. Lithuania U21

Games with normal rules and with U21 teams. (PS! IF both sides agree, then they are also allowed to arrange an U20/mixed game)

Home and away teams are random at the moment (in the fixtures). Who makes the challenge first, usually also decides where the game will be played. (Hopefully it wont be a major problem, because here in Sokker is no home team advantage)

Hi, mate!

So, what do you think about our game?

I would say, that it was a very hard game for us. My 1o1 situations were horrible today and as you probably know, then your GK isnt the strongest one, lol... My players decided to bet on luck and scored 3 lucky goals - two of them were long shots by the way. Your through passes were quite dangerous and from time to time, my defenders acted like some headless chickens - many bad decisions made by them. Luckily, you managed to score only once, although second was also close. Why not also 3rd? ;) Also low quality in passing, but a win is a win.

Anyway, I would like to thank you for a great game and win Finland next, if you can. At least steal some points from them! Lithuania made a quite good match against them - were leading 2:0, but lost 2:3 in the end.

I've sent an invitation for him, but guess who ain't noticing my calls...

Please accept the challenge!!!

why Mysi not accept???

Well, what can I say... Things went exactly as I was afraid of - the match against Finland and Latvia wasnt arranged. It is quite sad actually, because those kind of things shouldnt happen at this level. Also, both managers had 6 days to do the needed things... I did my best to get this match booked and informed them, but now I simply need to find the best solution.

Both managers claim, that they are not guilty (Mysi: 2012-12-06 21:33 I've sent an invitation for him, but guess who ain't noticing my calls...; Khatibi MC 2012-12-07 10:49: There wasn't any invites! I decline 3 invite to accept Mysi and now i havent any match!) According to that information I have, it is Mysi`s fault, but I cant be 100% sure about that. One option is to give a WO to one of the managers and also 3pts, other is to give 0 pts to both of them and 0:0. I need to think...

why Mysi not accept???

Well, mate, I could ask you the same question! Mysi`s arguments/facts are very strong, so I am waiting your counter attack.

I sent him an invitation on Tuesday, and here's a screenshot of it. As he hasn't neither accepted nor declined it, the invitation is still to be seen at the U21-page.

Then, what he does, is inviting me instead of accepting my challenges? Okay, why not, but why did he do it last night!?

http://img542.imageshack.us/img542/348/latvia3.jpg

Still, from this picture, we can see that he has challenged me yesterday morning as well. However, I logged in yesterday evening at about 21:00 SK-time, and checked the U21-page. There were no invitations for me, just the one I had sent for him. So he has either retracted the invitation, or then there's some sort of bug in there.

Anyway, the question is, that why didn't he just accept my invitation, that I sent him well in advance?
