well, vote for me this time ;)
Not going to give much of a speech. I'd like to see if I can do better than the previous WC campaign from 2 seasons ago. I qualified, so it's part II of the job now. Afterwards there will be a whole bunch of friendlies. As our main squad is aging rather quickly, the main other objective after the WC would be to start mapping youth school and tracking possible NT prospects.

- starting project for future NT players.

After the draw with France (2-2, we ended the game with 3 red cards), this is the final group stage result.
1. Latvija 3 1 2 0 5-4 5
2. Hellas 3 1 1 1 7-6 4
3. France 3 1 1 1 5-5 4
4. België 3 0 2 1 4-6 2
And the sokker gods had a good laugh and put us against Hellas again in the first round of the knock-out stage.

After the 4-0 WC elimination and the bit excessive 4-1 loss to Australia, it's time to get the team back on track. Normally Uruguay should be the victim, but they're not the easiest team despite their similar ranking :)
After the clean victory over Macedonia, we face Saoudi Arabia next week.
We're playing B squad, meaning lower form folks but I'd also like to field a couple of younger players. So if you could all update your U27 players in the database (or send me their skills by sk mail), that would be much appreciated.
