Subject: [NT] Väinämöinen
I never coached big teams except for Belgium. It does not really appeal to me to have "almost perfect" players :)
Latvija, Cymru, Scotland, Indonesia, ... they all are teams with decent (but usually small) core players and a couple of (future) stars, where you have to decide on what skill you can hopefully have a bit lower without killing the team's performance, deciding between higher form or the better player in low form, ... :)
Agreed we cannot win all the time, but Austria isn't a world class team either (Crna Gora was stronger than I expected), so before the games you somewhat hope you can spring the surprise.
Anyway, next season I hope they organize the mini WC where some decent teams will be present (e.g. Netherlands) and then - if I get elected - I'd prefer to play some more U2x games.

I'm (temporarily) resigning from the job. I won't lie and the last results have been influential but the main reason is the fact my rather weak team clinched promotion to the top league again and it will need some more tending than in the last season during which I could keep the same tactics all the time and only had to look for the form in defense :)
Khatibi already applied for the NT job after coaching the U21 guys and doing pretty well. So unless someone really talented or a decent local manager would step up (though I'd suggest the U21 team for any Latvian manager), I'd put my vote for him.
Either way, I hope the next coach won't kick me out of the association forum. I would not mind sharing my ideas there if required/wanted.
So thanks for the 6 terms of electing me and obviously for training all these wonderful players. The squad is pretty fine for the next seasons (maybe not that in depth, but that will always be the case), though I do suggest to train some defenders. Given the U21 guys left had to do with double outstanding this season, it does not look too bright for the long future (on short future there's still Bumbulis, Amors, Zivarts, Cals, ...). Same for GK :)

Thank you for the magical (15) job in previous seasons :D. Get rest, and we waiting you back with full of energy and new ideas! I am sure, it will be superdivine (18) comeback! :D
I would be happy to see you again! You have conducted a work as manager with perseverance and dedication, you were promoted in the premier league for this reason :)
We all know what you have been useful for the U21.
thanks for the work done, good luck to all.

Thanks for coaching our NT for such a long time. And good luck in winning Eerste Klasse! :)

finally a group without "superpowers"
Good luck Vaina!!!
Good luck Vaina!!!
Well, Bulgaria is rank 3 and Estonia used to be super duper awesome, but maybe they're no longer the superpower they used to be :) (Still would have preferred Portugal or similar).
Rank 4 is what could be expected, rank 5 is a bit tougher than hoped for, but should still be 'less strong' even though MatZeg is doing a great job there.

thanks for giving me another chance :)
Will fix friendlies in the next weeks. There are 6 available weeks (3 during WCQ, 3 end of season).

Hi all,
Elections have started again.
I know results have not been bad, but certainly not overwhelmingly good. But if you still have faith, you can re-elect me.

The question is - do you have faith!
+1 from me anyway :)
