It took me a couple of days to reach a decision, but I'll give it another try. If we don't qualify for the WC, I'll give another coach the chance to familiarize with the team in a season of friendlies. Fingers crossed for the group seedings :)

For those not following the association forum (I would suggest you really do :) ), today (last day of WCQ) we have qualified for the WC.
We won 3-0 over Costa Rica, which means the game Suomi - Espana doesn't matter any more (Spain had to hope we did not win as they were 1 point behind us). It's the end of a nice WCQ with wins over Espana and Suomi in the last weeks. We won al games except a loss to Suomi, a draw to Spain and a draw to ... UAE (auch).

Oh and I would appreciate if you'd vote for me in the next 2 weeks to have another season at the helm of your NT ;)

Today the WCQ start again.
As in previous seasons, all information on the NT (and U21) can be found on the Latvija Assocation forum (available to all, including non-plus users). Please apply and send me a sokker mail so access can be granted. Or mail me in case you don't manage to apply :)

Interesting WC group. Could end 2nd, could end 4th ... Acceptable 2nd seed, hard 4th seeded team.
Even 5th and 6th seeds are not really weak ones. And well, first seed ... no comment :p

Good luck to next coach. The team is in top32. Try to keep it there for end of season as it means 2nd seed in wcq groups.

All tactics are gone and all but the 2 guys in bot teams, are released. Database is ok-ish up to date. So you can pick team and tactics as you want.
