Subject: [U21] Royal Flush

Hi!

I'm Royal Flush, I have been on sokker way too long!
I do have some experience coaching NT's and U21 teams.

I have been U21 coach of the Belgian NT and the Lithuanian NT.
I have been NT coach of senior teams of Belgium and Lithuania.
I have been NT scout for Belgian NT, Belgian U21 NT and Iceland U21 NT

In Belgium I played in the top league a few seasons, my best result was ending second, losing the championship on the last day against a former CC winner. I have also played the final of the cup, I lost again against that same manager! His team was way stronger to be honest, but tactically I was challenging him :-)

I haven't been that active on sokker lately, but since I've bought myself some new juniors I have found a new drive to enjoy Sokker again.

But enough about me! :D
What will I do for the Latvian U21 team?
I will do all the scouting myself, I have worked with teams in the past but mostly I was doing the work all by myself :) So this time I've decided not to have a team around me. But I will be in contact with your NT coach(Vainamoinen (langhe) and I go waaaaaay back). I know he already does some scouting for the Latvian NT, so I will help him in that task. I think it's an advantage that we know eachother!

Oh yeah, you might wonder why I have trained the Lithuanian NT, that was because I had a great junior from his country in my team. He eventually became one of the best players of the world in his age!

I'm already looking for some Latvian juniors to train myself (if they fit my training plans), so if anyone has some promising midfielders, I'm excited to train them as good as possible!

Hi. Good luck in elections. Why exactly Latvija instead of stronger countries tho?

I was looking for a new challenge and Langhe (vaina) asked if someone was willing to become U21 NT coach of Latvija. So I thought about it and I was willing to give it a go.
And once I go for something, I go for it 100%

And at this moment I don't want a big country, maybe in the future I will, but to be honest I didn't like coaching Belgium as much as I did Lithuania, that's because there's a lot of pressure when you coach a big team. They expect you win every game (which I tried) and aren't very happy when you lose a game ;-)
When I coached a smaller country, the users were way more grateful when there was a win.
And I like to have a goal with a smaller country, like trying to get as high as possible on the NT-ranking, trying to help that country by buying players from that country and training those players and thus helping to create a stronger team. That's not easy if you're coaching a big country, than you need lots more money to buy such players. So I like the fact that I can help a country with less money.
Also getting friendly managers (who I know are decent trainers, like you are) to buy Latvijan players to train them is something I'd enjoy :)

You know - it wont be easy, we have verry limeted number with candidates for U21 with some skill :)

One of the goals this season will be getting as far as possible in the U20 mini world cup!
I'm arranging the friendly's at this moment, are there any suggestions which country you want Latvija to play against? I'll see if i can arrange a friendly than!

How about friendly against big countries like USA or RUSSIA?!

I'd suggest Estonia and Lithuania. Also probably Belgium ;)

As you can see i have been able to get Lithuania, Russia and the USA to play us :)

It looks like booking friendlies is getting worse every year ...
I only made an arrangment for seniors to play Lietuva (we face Eesti twice during WCQ).
No other planning before the end of elections :)
