Ahahahah yes, un vero colpo di scena (a big turn of events) :D

I was really sad because I think that I didn't deserve to be out but the fate make the things even in an exciting ending. Now I can face every upcoming match in the world cup lightly because we have nothing to lose. Let's see what we can reach. I'm happy even for the whole community because it deserve, we have few players but with a good quality.

Hi :)

Last match we used only U27 players. Good win build on single events but what we can see is that every generation adds a little amount of players to the main selection. In fact, I had to use many 23 - 26 years old players. My main thing is related to every beginning of the seasons, when most part of the global transfers happens. I hope that no players fall into bad manager. In the future, for instance, we lack of a strong winger. Anyway, we have good strikers.

By the wae, let's think to the upcoming season. Election time, I write only now because in the last week I've been busy to update the database. What I think is this world cup qualification has been crazy. We've been unlucky in both matches against Slovenja and in the 2nd match Hayastan but in the end we've deserved the qualification. I think, of course, that we can't challenge for the world cup but, with a little help of the form of some key players (and of course no injuries) we can have to say something and be noisy for many big national selections.
In the next match I want to test two playesr that have got a big salary but I don't know their skills because their managers ignore my update requests. Unfortunately Polska NT manager forgot the friendly against us as decied in the beginning of the last season but Ukraina could be an opponent that could give us a good test for these players.

The second could have a reliable test because he's a high form. I asked to his previous manager if can send me the skills when he sold him last summer.... about all of you, please light on a candle for NT Latvija :)

Another announcement. I think that I will not participate to the U27 european. For the reasons written above, I think that we will lose ranking point with the risk to be under the 31th place of the global ranking.

After 10 days of silence I come back. Today we've got a good match against Vietnam, where in the second half we play better with the tactic change. But let's look forward to the world cup

Not a bad group, it could have been worse, we have the role of the team that has got nothing to lose. Next match is against Eesti, where his coach, ale70, won three world cup. Let's see what we can say in this world cup. Ricard Sesks satisfied me. I should think that he's close to our top midfielder with high playmaking and passing skill.

Yesterday he scored on a free kick! Yesterday the opponent strenght, especially of strikers, was very high but we wasted 3 points. Too much missing on goal, especially on 1 vs 1. Now we have last chance to continue against the strongest team of the league. Stay connected, we are not dead yet. :)

And finally we're out :(.

We had not the top scorer touch, because we had a lot of chances, for almost an hour we played better than Turkey. Okay, nobody should say that we could win the world cup but I feel a little bit of regret, because I would like to go out from the WC against something where I could say "ok, he's stronger and he plays better". I don't feel like this.

Anyway, we are again on 30st place on the world ranking, this means on the 2nd pot for making the next leagues of the next world cup. Now the goal is to mantain it an improve it.

Hello to all

I write this message in order to advise you all that I won't re-candidate for Latvija. I am pretty sure that I've done my best and I can't do more, so I make the place free for somebody that I hope can do equal or better than me. The 2nd pot for qualification league should be assured. Now I have only to consolidate the world NT rank in these last two matches.
I'm very happy and proud to have got this opportunity with this little but strong national team, thank you very much for your trust, I hope that you should be satified enough.

@väinämöinen why not? I am pretty sure that you can enjoy more than Malta, as I told you in Belgie forum, the team has got strong striker and good midfielder. The problem is only in the defender side, but I am pretty sure that it's a problem that you remember when you had the leading of NT Latvija and I am pretty sure that you've got the skills to succeed it. You left me a good situation of database and now I am providing to update to give this in change to you or who will lead NT.

With Malta it was working with half the squad with skills from5-6 seasons ago :D
