The holiday season has not been helpful in maintaining our regular communication, but today we make up for it with a long entry describing the current status of our work. We hope that the numerous changes that have appeared on the server have made up for the lack of information.
Training Reports - Beta Version
Since a few weeks you can find a new tab on the training page - "Training First Team", which shows the progress of all players in form of a table.
If you click on a specific player in the list, the training progress of that player from week to week will be displayed. This option has been activated this week. We can't wait for you to try it out. This view may still contain bugs and will be improved this week.
The main functionalities of the new training reports:
1. highlighting players' skill changes;
2. ability to sort players by any filter;
3. logs training type and number of minutes played in all game types;
4. history of player training (PLUS users have access to archive data for the entire duration of the subscription).
During the trial period, the site will be available to all. Eventually, however, it will be a feature that is only available to PLUS users.
We are currently working on the following corrections:
1. correct counting of minutes played (errors occur during injuries and international matches);
2. highlighting weeks when the player was injured;
3. improving the readability of the training history of a specific player (compressing the elements);
4. adding a picture of the player;
5. adding links to the player's profile or country of origin;
6. various other minor bugs, such as improving separators in amounts, overlapping texts, etc.
This is not all the news about training reports!
Work is underway on the "Weekly Report" page, which will be a simplified overview of training changes in our team. It will include information about the type of training and about the coaches, the progress in the youth team and a new graphical representation. It will include a scroll bar feature and mark weeks where the athlete has missed training.
New transfers - a list with a summary of transfers made.
Another important element that we have been able to implement is a brand new page with a summary of transfers made. This is the default view after opening the transfers page and there you will find a list of all the players you are trying to buy or sell.
The features of this page are:
1. more detailed player stats visible at a glance (age, value);
2. possibility to see the player's skills without going to his profile;
3. possibility to bid on a player from the list without going to the profile;
4. changes that update live: One can follow the progress of the auction in the list view;
5. information about the number of clubs interested in the player;
6. possibility to remove the observation of a player;
7. possibility to watch the player without having to bid for him in the auction (pin icon in the player's profile);
8. countdown to the end of the auction (display of the end of the auction to the second);
9. marking auctions in which you win with a green icon.
At the same time, we are also working on some missing elements, such as coach observations (not yet implemented).
Overview - corrections and changes
A lot of changes have been made in the overview as well, from a number of corrections of various smaller elements (e.g. adding complete financial data for the last season in the finance section, improving various visual elements, etc.) to bigger implementations like the introduction of a completely new section - the calendar with a preview of the current match week.
The calendar currently only shows the events that have already taken place, but will soon be supplemented with hints about the events of the coming days (e.g. information about when the friendly rounds are scheduled or when the age of the players changes due to the new season).
What are we working on now?
In the last few months we have accelerated the work significantly and we are very happy that more and more new features are appearing in the game and that the changes are slowly becoming noticeable. We hope that you are also happy with the results you are seeing.
In addition to the things already mentioned, we are currently working on several new items:
1. new homepage with simplified registration and login process;
2. new training system;
3. game scenery (for 2D and 3D). We also plan to develop a 3D player for mobile devices;
4. there are also other elements in the queue - the season view (match calendar and list view of matches) and the view of the new, significantly expanded finances (both were presented in the Dev Diaries);
5. secondly, there is a new squad selection view in the graphic design.
