What is the importance of the stadium
Your stadium is where your team plays roughly every other week. It adds to the character of your team, but has one importance over all the others - it provides you money from crowds.

Sokker states that "For each team the stadium has eight sectors for building the stands. The stands can be expended or demolished depending on your budget.

In order to get the costs of building works of the desired stand go to the menu stadium and insert its details. Be aware - the price of seat grows proportionally with the size of stand. It might be cheaper to build two smaller stands than one bigger."

Sokker also states that "Every club has a number of faithful fans ready to support their favourite team. The most fanatic ones subscribe to the Supporters’ Club (the total number of subscribers is available in Reception menu).
Irrespective of fan club for each match there are always additional, casual spectators, depending on weather, the size of the fan club and moods among the members of the Supporters’ Club of the visitor team.

The current mood of your fans can be found in the menu Reception. There are certain social groups of your supporters and some of them will not attend if you will not provide them best conditions on the stadium. For instance some of them may not come if there are no seats on a covered stand available

Key Areas of Focus
Ground Expansion
Sokker states the following:
There are four types of stands. Each type determines the ticket price and the number of spectators. Some of your fans may not come for matches unless you provide them satisfactory conditions - a proper stand. Each supporter selects the cheapest stand from ones that suit him. However every spectator is likely to buy a ticket for a stand with higher standard if only his preferable seats are all sold out. Each stand can be covered by a roof to make attendance independent of the weather conditions. During construction works the supporters are not allowed on the stand until the works are complete. The stand types are as follows: - grass, no stand has been built. In each sector with grass only 100 spectators are allowed by the sideline. - terraces, standing places made of concrete. The second cheapest type of stand, however there are certain regulations imposed by the football association restricting the size of stands with terraces. You are not allowed to build the terraces only. - benches - the cheapest stand with sitting places. - Seats - more expensive and luxurious stand. Seats are more expensive than benches, but you can expect more spectators lured by good conditions willing to see your club in action.

It appears that your fans have an inbuilt chosen favourite seat.
They will buy that, but if it is full, will go up until they find a stand they like. i.e. a fan of benches will go to seats if you have no free benches...It has been stated that fans of seats won't attend matches if there are none available!

It is estimated that you will need about 2 seasons to get payback on any stand expenditure. Expanding by less than 1000 is not advisable due to the cfixed osts of the project.

The spreadsheet below suggests possible splits for your stand. However it should be noted that some users believe it is worth concentrating on just benches and seats

Figures for demand for each ticket type
Standing 7%
Terraces 29%
Benches 38%
Seats 26%

These figures state the % of fans that will want each seat type. The highest demand is for seats, which means that they are more likely to fill than the rest of the ticket types. Remember though, that if a fan is unable to obtain the ticket type they want, they will opt to pay for a more expensive ticket, so it is still ideal to have an all seater stadium where possible, rather than having the percentage of seats in your stadium as stated above.

How many spaces should I have?
It depends. As a rule of (very rough) thumb, your maximum attendance will be somewhere around 8x(your supporter number + visitors supporter). i.e. if you have 250 supporters, so does your opponent, expect up to 4000 attendees. THIS IS VERY APPROXIMATE!

Are corners behind the goal, or along the line
Corners are behind the goal, so get the lower revenues if you have seats

Revenues are as follows (GB £):
Standing places £1.20 £1.20
Standing places under roof £1.20 £1.20
Terraces £2.40 £2.40
Terraces under roof £3.00 £3.00
Benches £3.75 £3.75
Benches under roof £4.50 £3.75
Seats £4.50 £3.75
Seats under roof £5.25 £4.50

What is the impact of having national team players on attendances
This is currently unknown, but estimated at an increase in attendance of 5%
