Thanks. Will definitely consider that. My current youth coach is solid. Should I change? But I don't have money :(
2008-02-04 15:11:13
just stick with it. next season then get a brilliant coach! start planning and saving money.. u need at least S$500k to get a brilliant coach on the TL.
2008-02-04 15:23:10
not necessary...it's better to advance "step on step" (stepwise)!!!

@xyart: Look your bi-weekly balance (profit - cost)....in my experience you can support also a negative balance (max 20-25.000S$ every two weeks)...because when you are in red, you can sell one of ten players that you train!

If you balance is positive or few negative you can buy a new junior coach excellent or formidable (no more in this first time)

Damn! Now i know why i'm almost bankrupt! ^^

Mr Abramovich, I need more money!!!

lol :)

Currently I'm already in red every week without home match and just barely make it balance with home match.

I doubt I can afford any better coach.
2008-02-04 16:57:38
if your balanca are on red don't change coach :)

but with solid coach when an joung pop on 5-6 week are VERY strong :) the same joung with incredible coach pop on 4-5 :)
But your first problem are make a good balance :) with good balance and good economy plan you can make a program to buy players buy coachs and build stadium :) without an good economy plan all other program are impossible :)

"bi-weekly balance" = week with home match + week away..

...so i understand that your "bi-weekly balance" is near to zero.

How much do you spend for your junior "solid" coach?

G.K. Neo, age: 44,
wage: 8 150 S$
club: Holland United, country: Singapore
solid coach

Training effectiveness:
excellent of stamina, unsatisfactory of keeper
good of pace, weak of defender
excellent of technique, good of playmaker
incredible of passing, excellent of striker

[introduce to you my personal criteria of valutation: "in the last period i start to look the average of all skills, before to buy a new coach"...so i can buy a coach with more wage but better average]

in this case the average of skills is 7,875....so the wage is not the best for this about solid coach...

i advice you to change the junior coach within 5-6 weeks: you can find a excellent coach between 11.000S$ (for excellent coach with average 9,5) and 19.000S$ (for excellent coach with average 10,375)

n.b. on TL it's less expensive to buy a coach with high wage but better average (for example excellent with wage 14-15.000 and average 10,00-10,25)....infact not all users look also the average, many people look only the low wage...

Junior Skill level Weeks

Paddy Selvam average 3 Reject
Wallace Eng good 8 Reject
M.S. Siah adequate 9 Reject
E.N. Goh adequate 18 Reject
K.H. Au poor 27 Reject
Jason Vijaya good 27 Reject
J.R. Voon adequate 31 Reject
L.D. Teng average 32 Reject
There is a good youth at 27 weeks, excited=)Should i reject any of them?
2008-02-11 15:27:31
in my opinion:

Paddy Selvam average 3....is unuseful, sack he
K.h. Au poor 27....try to keep for 6 weeks: if he don't pop up then sack he

The other juniors are very good :))

I'd reject the average 3. Definitely keep the rest. If the poor doesn't turn into a weak after 5 weeks then I'd reject him too. I usually only keep players if I think they're going to come out as atleast solid, but maybe as a start only keep them if they're atleast good. Give them 4 weeks per pop (e.g a weak 28 comes in, you can assume that they'll have 7 pops [28/4=7] and end up formidable). If they are off track to meet your required level (e.g they don't pop for 7 weeks) then reject them. A junior's talent will never change outside of maybe 1 week per pop. The first pop is an exception though as he may come into the school at a high level already (e.g a good 24 who's 1 week away from solid). But after that there will be a steady rate of pops (e.g every 4.5 weeks).

Some very promising players in there though! :)

P.s Hope that's easy enough to understand!

I think they're going to come out as at least solid

i think the same...solid is absolutely the minimun, but there is also an exception: for example a good junior, that come out with 16 years, is a great junior!!
...so also a adeguate junior with 5-6 weeks (before come out), can be nice!

Give them 4 weeks per pop (e.g a weak 28 comes in, you can assume that they'll have 7 pops [28/4=7] and end up formidable).

allow me a precisation: now the Singapore's users don't have a great Junior coach (for me a great junior coach must be incredible or more)...so in this moment i think it's difficul that they have a junior with talent 4....only one junior every 10-15 can have this high talent...maybe a "normal" junior have a talent between 5-6 weeks (with a excellent or formidable coach)
