You're definitely right but that's not exactly the point I'm making (and I sort of figured it wasn't very clearly explained). What I'm saying is that they should work off 4 weeks as the BASE talent when they predict what the junior will be. Then give it until their first or 2nd pop and they can reassess based on their ACTUAL talent. It's just a useful guide for people to use when they have to make a decision when they first see their junior. So you see a weak junior with 16 weeks on Saturday and you think, hmmm.. what do I do with him. Using my principle you'd keep him for atleast 4 weeks to see if he pops, becuase using the 4 week theory he COULD be a solid.

This player can become a great striker and if i remember well, you are a defender's trainer....

so in my opinion you must sell he....but if you train pace in next weeks (because this is your original training plan), then you can keep this player and sell when he pop up one or two times in pace...

(however if you train pace after 1 or 2 weeks you must sell immediately...because it's unuseful to keep this player and don't train)

________

Another thing (it's my experience): usually the player with "nothing match" will pay more than a player with "any matchs" and the same skills...because a buyer hope that the player have extra training if go out from junior school and don't play any matchs...

31 players... BIG family! Lol!

So shall i play him in a few matches and hope he pops in pace +2-3? Or sell him straight away?
2008-02-14 11:52:20
in this case i think you must sell immediately!!

...because in this period there are many money on market ("bonus" effect :D), and like i say before: usually the player with "nothing match" will pay more than a player with "any matchs" and the same skills...because a buyer hope that the player have extra training if go out from junior school and don't play any matchs...

p.s. if you want i pubblicize this player also in italian forum ;)
