"You will lose spectators that prefer stands instead of benches if you have all seats in you stadium."

myth!!!

every spectators prefer the place more economic (between all places that he appreciate)....but if the "more economic place" is full, then the spectator go to the next place (and you don't lost the spectator).

In your case if benches is full, then the spectator go to the seats....and paid more for the ticket :)

p.s. An ipotetic stadium is made with benches and seats (nope terrance because the ticket is too low).

__________

Another think: The minimun capacity of your stadium is about the result of this multiplication: number of your fans X 15

in my case 1.932 fans x 15 = about 29.000 places

What about the second point? Is the area with stands countd behind the goal or along the sidelines?

All 4 corners and the two stands directly behind the goal are all counted as 'behind the goal'. While only the two longest stands, which run parallel to the pitch, are counted as 'along the line'.

Generally you're better off just building a ridiculously large stand of seats along the line as you will maximise profit. So every time you upgrade you upgrade the one stand with more seats. While the stadium might look ugly you'll be able to maximise on profit.

But it seems that benches without roof seem to have the same price as those in the sidelines. Why is this?
