I have see your match
1) Push up your defence when you attak
2) Place more close the defender
3) kok and ling play on the same place ... are not good :)
4) Your middlefield are on line not good try to see the firs match of singapore versus Malta we play with 3 defender and 5 middlefiled, or better see my match

for me klvin has make a really good tactics i have just see your last match.
2008-02-20 14:17:59
How can i improve on my tactics?
2008-02-20 14:24:02
1) your midlefliend are not really strong on passing so are not good that you place your winger near the line of end of camp ... becouse every passing go out ... see 1° minut of your last match ..
2) Your wingers are good as strikers ??? becouse i see that you place up when you attack
3) i don't like how you place your 3 offensive middlefield arrighi tulimoski and klemmensen are so close with strikers for me ...

ok.. I'll try to improve on that

To Herps:

Yep keep your defenders within one space (just 1 movement left or right) of each other.

Also your strikers move around far too much. I never move my strikers left or right and keep them in the same middle positions for every ball position in the tactics. Move them up and down (never further back than just above halfway IN the ATTACKING half) but not sideways more than 1 space.

Like Oni said, your midfielders aren't in line. What I'd do is play with 2 wingers (not too far to the side, I'd tuck them towards the middle) and then choose to have 2 central midfielders, or 1 defensive midfielder and a central midfielder. At the moment it's a very weird set-up in midfield.

The main area is your midfield. It looks very disjointed and congested. If you're playing with one striker then play with one striker, I wouldn't use the attacking midfielders or wingers to move into striking positions.

The two attacking mids are far too close to the striker and are too far up the field to do any work defensively. It just seems like they're wasted a bit because they're basically playing as strikers but they aren't in decent striking positions and they're never in good midfield positions.

Consider playing with 1 attacking midfielder and then 1 central midfielder.

Your defence and defensive midfielders are looking pretty good though :)
