ReniX could just pop in one time and set a standard tactic to last the season. He's way too strong. The squad he's using now is his reserve ONLY. The no of excellent strikers he have will thrash us all.

I just think that a decent defensive tactic should be able to contain his strikers pretty well. He's definitely not using the full capabilities that a 3 man strike force can offer by firstly putting them all so closely together and secondly tucking one man in deeper.

I'm trying to devise one heck of a tactic , trying new one in this Singapore Cup match.

Im taking Cloete advice and trying a new tatic. Hopefully, it will not have flaws.

So how are ur tactics, Herps n Valgan? Can share?? :p

I quite liked your new defensive tactic actually Valgan. The only suggestion I could make though is, when playing a better team, to employ a defensive mid. You did use one in theory but he pushed a bit too far forward quickly and it left alot of space between your midfield and the defence which looks quite risky. Otherwise thought it was quite good.

Also as a general point to those who play 3 strikers, I always try to play two of them quite wide. Having 3 right on top of each other just doesn't work. I noticed you used an AM though Valgan. I just thought he was a tad too close to the front two. Interestingly all of your midfielders rush forward as well. I find it's actually not that important to get midfielders too far forward. By only moving them forward a normal amount (1 or 2 spaces forward as the ball moves up in the tactics creator) they have more room to pass the ball around and there aren't huge holes between the defence and midfield when you lose the ball up front.

To Herps: Did you end up using a new tactic? Thought it was pretty much identical to your previous one.

cloete can you give me some advise on my tactics, my initial tactics was back 3 playing offside trap (all 3 defender 1 box further up untill half field) thats caught my opponent fews offside but that was very much suicide play.
