Klvn01 have reason!!!

It's okey (buy a coach with unearthy in the skills that you will train) ..but you must look also the other skills...because the "random skill up" depends principally from the skills of the head coach...

(from Newbie guide)
Another thing:

The assistent are only a surplus, in first time you must have a great head coach....after when you have a great coach (a great coach is a coach with minimum unealthy in the skills that you train and the other skills are about solid/excellent or more), you can buy your first assistent (but only one for the moment)!!!

It's ONLY the head coach that influence the training....the assistent only help to raise up the skills of head coach (but need 3 strong assistent with high wage to up 1 level in all skills of head coach)...it's more easy and less expensive to invest all money to buy one head coach (with the max wage that you can pay every week for your staff).

In your case if you want train passing and pace, than you must buy a trainer with unealthy pace and passing (the other skills can be low in this first time: but you must know that more high is the other skill and more random skill up you can have...)

For coach, I think for an s'pore team, a good coach is needed to train youths for your team and the nation. Forget about spending big bucks on overseas player. If you want, have a good coach, buy overseas youth and make use of the bot teams to train rookie players. Likewise, i think having to train your youth player is better for your team and nation.

Here's my coach for your reference.

Galvin Kang, age: 61,
wage: 34 250 S$
club: Sembawang Hamsters FC, country: Singapore
outstanding coach

Training effectiveness:
incredible of stamina, formidable of keeper
very good of pace, magical of defender
incredible of technique, outstanding playmaker
brilliant of passing, solid of striker

P.S Advice from a noob. Hope that helps although unlikely. :)

What are you training cakama? passing or stamina?

For junior coaches only the overall appraisal (e.g Very Good Coach) counts. The individual skills don't matter at all so the lower they are and the higher appraisal the coach is the better, as it means cheaper wages. As for first team coaches, the overall appraisal doesn't matter what so ever. It's the individual skills that count. NEVER EVER train anything unless your coach is unearthly in that skill. It's simply not worth it. If it means you have to get a new coach to start a different training programme, then so be it.

As for assistants, the overall appraisal is the thing that matters. However they don't have have to be as good.

Yeah I've just been a bit lazy with sacking them. Keep forgetting to do it before saturday. Because I may as well keep him for the training on thursday. But between thursday and saturday I'll forget to sack one of them. The vicious cycle continues :P
