Wah.. my strikers damn lousy.. 22 shots.. only 2 goals..

Exterminatorz 22 shots too.. but 13 goals..

Stormwind 20 shots.. 7 goals..

ReNiX 13 shots.. 3 goals..

Does this means I have to get better strikers?
2008-03-09 09:05:50
More prolific strikers though.. I thrashed the opponent as their defence was way weaker than your opponent. Improve on tactic maybe?
2008-03-09 09:08:46

I'll think of a more offensive tactics just to play against bot teams to boost my goal difference..
2008-03-09 09:27:21
I played a more offensive tactic against a bot and i end up only 2-1! :(

Lucky to win! Last 5 mins scored winner! Still can keep up with Heroes. But goal diff sucks!
2008-03-09 09:33:29
Haha.. Lucky you..

Don't worry.. S-League is not that frightening.. I think I can stay on for 1 more season before getting relegated.. If got more humans players, it'll be more interesting..

Your strikers just aren't fast enough and don't have enough technique. Your tactic is quite good really.

The thing you guys have to realise is that the bots you guys play against are still fairly similar to the rest of your teams. But bots being bots, you should be able to always win with a good tactic. But you're not likely to convert alot of chances and it's still going to be a bit of a battle.

If you get say one striker with excellent+ pace and technique and you get a midfielder who can pass him a ball you'll be absolutely laughing at the bots as the striker runs through their team. But it;'s about finding the right balance in these early years and ensure you do what's best for your team in the long run.

Klvn, though S-League is a fairly similar standard to alot of div 2 human teams. Your team would easily be able to withstand the S-Leagueand have as much a shot as any at actually winning it. All of you have very even teams which makes it very exciting, particularly in the cup!

Anyway good to see all the human teams thrashing the bots (atleast in terms of the play if not the actual result) :)

I'll train pace maybe next season.. concentrating on passing now..
2008-03-09 12:20:43
Good to see you've got 10 young trainees and you're using 5 MIDs every game then :)

If you are going to do a proper midfield training scheme (which I assume you are to build up some midfielders for your team as well as a few to sell) then make sure you train playmaking, pace and technique as well at some stage.

Feel free to sk mail me any of your trainees skills as i'd be really keen to see the type of players you are training. Good idea to keep track of the talent of them, if they're young and have relatively low skills they are worth keeping if they are talented but by the same token it's no good keeping a weak young player if he isn't talented.
