Subject: NEW SITE DESIGN

We are pleased to announce the introduction of the brand new Sokker design to everyone. Tomorrow we will try to make the change, so be prepared! We hope you will like it as much as we do!

We hope the change will be fast and painless, but as always there is a risk of downtime. Should this occur, transfer deadlines will be extended.
The new design is a big and fundamental change with completely new interface files (with refreshed html and xhtml used). Unfortunately as a result of the new design, old skins will no longer be compatible with Sokker. However, when creating new skins it will be possible to do much more of them, and even have them setup for different screen resolutions.

With the new design we would also like to introduce a new feature: Google maps location. With this extension you will be able to enter your location and look for friends (or rivals) in your neigbourhood! You can find the feature by clicking on your username (on your team page) and then on "Location" in the upper right of the screen. This will be the only new feature for now, but when the new design is completely up and running we will work on further improvements and new features.

Even though we have extensively tested the new design, it is possible there may still be some bugs and issues with it. Please report any in the bug forum, with one topic per problem.

Sigh... To come up with a description of the new design..

It's like an old car with a new coat of paint and some nice decals! That's all! Nothing more! There are no new bodykits, 19 inch wheels, spoilers, front/rear bumpers, upgraded engine, leather seats, etc... If u know what i mean! I'm absolutely disappointed with it!

But good try by the devs! I'm sure you guys can do better next time! I'll still cont to play the game, bcos I think that this game is awesome! Pity about the designing part though! I guess the devs are good at programming but not designing! That's undestandable! It's like Engineers are not Artistic People and vice versa, I guess! :)

I think if a lot of people still prefers the old design, then I think it's a failure on the devs part! But if majority of the people like the new design, then I think it's a success!! For something to be a success it has to be at >70%!!!

I'll try the new design for a week and then see how! We must give the new design a try no matter how bad it looks! Who knows??

I like the new Logo! That's the only thing i like! :)

Yeah ... I think I am getting old so I can hardly accept something new, hehe... I prefer to the previous one as well. And I like the 'Office' skin, black and white style with Excel spreadsheet background, haha ... Simple and concise.

But I think the positive thing would be the game designers are still working on presenting something new, although the proceed is a little bit slow hehe ... Hopefully there will be some substantial new features coming soon, such as U-21 NT and so on. [aja]

Hey. I think it fits. At least we won't get caught easily if we play sokker in school or office! :P

Yeah. New skin is a bit messy. Think we'll get used to it soon though.
