It's top half vs lower half. Just that it comes to the later part, it is a bit too hard to see. It depends on luck. Imagine being the bottom of the top half being drawn with the top of the second half. Lol.

I think its quite unfair, for those weaker teams. I think they should just randomise everything, like drawing lots. Most of the weaker teams are at a disadvantage.

But you see, winners of league do not get any prize money. Only improvements in sponsor money. So must more benefits.

=) In real life, the higher seeds are also drawn against the weaker seeds in the cup...This is to avoid any big teams playing against each other in the first few rounds.
