i need a def trainer.....you train only pace now....but if you next season start to train defence, then you can my buyer ;)
2009-02-23 17:30:11
you don't make a mid of him?
2009-02-23 17:35:30
in this time there aren't great defenders in Singapore U21.....so it's more important that he become a def now (maybe mid-def, but only in future)
2009-02-23 17:41:18

I strongly recommend to advertise him to MID-trainers. Believe me, Singapore will have plenty of good defenders in a few seasons, but a perfect MID-trainee like him doesn't show up too often, especially in a small country.

Magyarország had pretty much the same issue at the beginning, had very few valuable defenders and I was concentraiting on strengthening the defense as NT-coach advising to train a couple of nice MID-trainees to defenders. Turned out to be a mistake, those players are average defenders now, but they would have been superstars on the midfield if...

Thanks!! ....but as i said, in this moment we have already 5-6 mids (Huat, Law, Kuat, Madhavi....ecc....) that can become strong, while we have only a 1 defender that are good....

So I prefer that this 18years player take the defence training in this moment, but in future (at 20 years) maybe i can change my mind and he can start to take a mid training and become our best mid-def!!!

Another thing....i think that now also the defenders must be complete...so for a defenders it's not sufficient have only high def and pace... :)

start to train passing immediately....Darumani need minimun about 20 weeks of passing (20/talent 3 = 7 skills up)

At the end of next season Darumani must be like this:

Eugene Darumami, age 21

very good stamina hopeless keeper
formidable (+1random) pace formidable (+1random) defender
incredible (+1random) technique formidable (+3 trainings) playmaker
excellent (+1random +7 trainings) passing poor striker

about 27 weeks..... (9-10 trainings and 4 randoms)

after when he have 22 years, start to train defence and passing

Yes. I agree that defs now need more than def and pace. I prefer them with pass, pm and tech.

But tech and pm. They are not together right?

Eg. High tech, low pm. It's ok as it's hard to steal ball from def even if he didn't want to pass.
OR Low tech, high pm, pass quickly before striker tackles them.
