Subject: NT U21 Tactic

I need to collate some votes from fellow Singapore players. The question being, what tactical template do you people want me to use? (Eg. 4-4-2?)

5-5-0 counter attack!

Depends on what type of players u have.

But there is to be some rough idea? How many defenders? I think we have to play a tactic that dominates the midfield.

5-4-1 seems the best. Almost all laojiaos using...

But must consider the fact that the laojiaos use the tactic when the ME wasn't changed. Hmmm. Need more suggestions from the others.

I'm using 442

Play 5-3-2 lor. 3 DCs one of them play as DM at times. This DM muz have pace to recover back to help out in defence. PM, passing and tech is oso impt for him. Tech cause he will be the 1st person to be bombarded by strikers' legs, PM and passing to clear the ball before the blitz of strikers begin and to have a flow in MID. Passing for the DM is also impt in case he pass back in the new ME.

And I think the defence line should be quite far away from the midfield, incase of a mixup, ending up for the opponent's striker to run through.

Yeah. Something like a 4-1 defence, where the DM goes into the mid as support on attack.

Best not to play too much offside trap in new ME.

you cannot play with 5 defenders...there are not in this moment... :((

However the tactic is not important in this season, because there will be only friendly matchs.....you must play with the most young and talentuos players that we have, because the players that play in the NT team take a "bonus training" in the training session every week!!!

If you want be competitive the next year with the qualification for the under 21 mondial, then you must do a season of sacrifices.....the work of NT coach is not simply....

In this season I think that you must play with the under 20 player (plus 19y or 18y players that are exceptional).....so the "under 20" team of this season will be the "under 21" team of next season and you can start to play the qualification with a team already tested and with more experience than other NT team that don't use this strategy (in fact the players, that play in NT, take also more experience)

For example we have 3 talentuos strikers, so in my opinion minimun 2 strikers must play every match...ecc.....

Yeah. That's roughly what i was talking about. I dun understand the winger part. Loads of ppl in S-league use it. Why?

Dunno abt others... i use it bcos i can beat Valgan with it! :)
