yeah...but if you play 4-4-2 what are you training? no matter what you train, 1 player looses training...for example, if you train def, you can play 4-4-2, but like that, 4 defs in a line, 1 defensive mid witch you are going to play as a def, 3 mid and 2 strikers, so, practicaly you play 5-3-2...if you train mid you can't play a def as a mid, but you can play an offenive mid as a striker with MID orders, so you play 4-5-1 ....and so on. In my opinion 4-4-2 is the best tactic for a NT team, but that depends too...
I posted an example of 442 with a defensive mid in the first post!
So the crossing can confuse the defender? I can't really see how?
Is very usefull when your opponent is using 4 defs...helps in using the empty spot between the central ones!
Cool. Thanks for the long input. I didn't know players switch positions to help find space in the opponent's defence.
I tried to do the cross using my tactics but I realized swapped position is difficult to maintain when the ball is slightly to the left or right. The striker will have to run longer and faster when advancing from the side.
At the same height i make them crossing from the left to the right in the same way (that`s why i posted only the pictures with the ball in the middle of the field)..
However it`s true..to use swapped positions the players have to run longer..it means that they must be faster than usual!
