Scouts, pls remind all the owners of SG players to update their database based on the requirements on our U21 homepage. There are many who still have not updated the database! I have trouble picking the right players! Pls remember to remind them to give you any training or talent screens.
Right now I can only base on the old data to pick players... and some of the players in the database are crap! :)
Thank you! :)
Our 1st U21 WC Qual. match is on this friday! Lord have mercy on us! :)

How much stronger do you guys think Cymru U21 is compared to us? What are their player's stats like? Anyone has an idea?
Are their strikers fast?
Are their strikers fast?
Lets keep our fingers crossed we dun get thrashed against Cymru U21! [lol]
Man... Bradley Kannan is a dirty player! He gave away 3 penalties!!! :)
Okay guys, watch the match and criticize my tactics... I've already identified some of the areas to improve, but I need more feedback! This is the 1st time I'm playing a defensive tactic, never played so defensive b4! :)

He also killed our only half decentish forward :)
Good luck with the rest of your qualifying :)
Good luck with the rest of your qualifying :)
Thx! Yeah, we need it! Italy... Brazil... Slovenia... Geez... ur suppose to be the weakest one next to Guatemala and we lost 0-4! There goes our 4th pos! Now aiming for 5th! :)
you lost because there was a HUGE gap between Strikers and Mids. If you want to play like that you need to have really good strikers and mids. why? because if you have good mids they would pass quickly and precise on a "road" to goal. The strikers must be really really good. From 5 shots per game they must have 3 goals, otherwise you loose.
If you don't want to concede any goal, don't put all you're defs and mids around the goal, just try to put some pressure, don't let them pass in your own half, you did exactly that...you deliberatly let them pass as they wished in your own half. Those are some advices, don't take them wrong...there is a saying: you learn from your own mistakes. this was a mistake, hope you'll learn something :P
good luck next match and congrats to cypru

Yup, those are mistakes, I know that... SG U21 do not have good mids and strikers. Heck, we dun even have a good coach! Opps... is that me??? :)
Here are my reasons for playing like that:
1. I was hoping the defs and mids can play long or direct balls and let the strikers chase, or at least pass to my winger, then he crosses the ball to the strikers... but apparently the ME doesn't play long balls or direct balls (unlike CM)! Lol!
2. I was hoping my winger can put more crosses in, but it did not happen as my mids can't even get many good passes to him! And the few times he got the ball, he got tackled! And that's my best winger! Lol! (so the winger tactic will be scratched from now on against stronger team!)
3. I thought that is the only way to have some chance to score, as I did not think I will have a chance playing thru the centre. His defs eat my strikers for breakfast! And in fact, we got a scoring chance from a cross from the wing that hit the post! Did u miss that???! :)
(so how do you play offensive footie against stronger teams?)
4. And the reason I play my defs around the goal was bcos I know that their strikers are too fast for my defs, so if I push them too far forward, a thru ball and that's it, their strikers will leave my defs chasing shadows. So i thought by putting the defs nearer our goal, I invite them to run at us. It's easier to tackle their strikers head on than from behind or sideways, is it not?
But I admit the gap between Strikers and Mids is too huge... Didn't really know the quality of my players until now! Gawd, they need the hair dryer treatment!! An industrial type hair dryer! Anyway, I have a rough idea how to play against them in return match, but I still wanna hear from you guys!
So what would you do if you were me against Cymru U21 return match?? Can sk-mail me? Dun want the battle plans to leak out! :)

Hmm....Maybe if we move one striker to a midfield position? If we are playing defensive then theres no need to play 2 strikers.
I took a gamble, hoping if got 2 strikers, 1 can score mah. Dun wanna play too defensive...
Now you know how we feel when we're playing against your team :D
Hehe... I'm planning how to will win against Cymru U21 in the return match.
That was a experimental tactic I tried, never used b4 one. At least now I know the ME can't play long or direct ball, unlike CM! :)
I think I'll stick to those tactics I used against u all, see how...
