I'm afraid I agree with jsq. To mix the NT role, which is at the national level, with the transfer of a player from your club, which is private, is not right.
klvn, you have supporters here, and that's alright, but to me this is completely wrong. The NT coaches must be beyond suspicion. There should be absolutely no mixing of the two roles.
To use a NT callup to influence the sale of your own player is unethical. This is the crux of the matter, and I don't think there can be any rational defence of an action like that.

I didn't say you said I abuse my position. I was just asking the overall question everyone seems to think I did.

This was sent AFTER he bought the player, not BEFORE he bought the player. As I explained above, initially he told me not to put him in NT when he wanted to buy him. Then when I still decide to put him in NT, he said he doesn't want him anymore. Then he goes to bid for him... So after he got him, he wanted me to put him in the NT! First he did not want me to put in NT, THEN he wants me to put in NT.... Do you smell something here??
I did not send a msg to the buyer that if he pay higher price for my YS player I may play him in NT matches. On the contrary, I told him the valuation of my player was 1.6M - 1.9M in valuations forum, I even showed him! But I quoted him a lower price of 1.5M and he agreed!
Then he asked me whether he has a chance to play in NT and I told him the facts. That he's the 4th best in terms of skills in def, but he's not talented as he has a talent of 5.2. But I will play him against Italy in the week to try him out...
If you look at his skills and compare with the rest of our DEFs, he can play or dun play in the NT as we have players almost similar in skills than him but better talent. So after one game, i decided not to play him anymore... I dun see anything wrong with that.
As I said when I took over the U21 NT, I will not put players in the team if they have no chance of playing or if they do not have the talent, much less 5.2! Unless I really dun have players to play.. As to why I played him against Italy, like I said, I saw his skills are not bad so I decided to try him in the game against Italy as we won't win even if we put the best defenders...
But if someone says that bcos of greed I put my players in NT to bump up their prices, then I would have done it for all my SG players already, and I dun need to show you guys all the SG players skills in the forum.
The reason I do this is bcos of transparency! So that all of you can see who is in the U21 NT and what their skills level are. No one can anyhow "put" his player in the NT team as and when he likes, and that includes me! Bcos all of you can check the players skills in the forum to see if he deserves a place or not. I can't cheat, can I?
Another reason I do this is bcos I dun want anybody to feel that I have unfair advantage just bcos I'm U21 NT coach, I can see all your players skills. Now everyone can see everybody's players skills, including my players. Seriously, which NT coach has done that before??
I have done what most managers dun even bother to do to ensure a fair and level playing field for all SG players. Go around and ask other managers whether they show all their players skills to everyone in their country? I dun think so...
Some country coaches put more than 30 - 50 players in the NT?? Do you need so many players??? I'm sure many players dun deserve to be in the NT! But why do some people still put so many players in their NT? I'll tell you why, to jack up their prices for the users! I'm sure we all know that!
I didn't do that here... I only put players who are deserving of a place and post them on the forum for all to see... Those that do not play, I take them off the NT unlike other users who put 30-50 players in NT. I run the NT like in RL... keep it to about 25-30 players max.
I mentioned that I will try to have at least 2 players in everyone position when I fought for election. That view still stands... I think I have been very transparent and fair to all SG users so far.
But I dun blame anyone bcos it's human nature to jump to conclusions without hearing both sides of the story. Some people are bias too. Most people only read Anaconda's side of the story and decides I'm the bad guy.
I should have kept all the messages he sent to me, but unfortunately I have this habit of deleting messages after I've read them. especially unimportant msg. But I have "sent" messages. Those can't be deleted..

Read the whole story... Like I said, I have done alot of things which no NT coaches has done in SG or other countries have done to make things very transparent! So tell me what is wrong with what I have done?

I agree with what you say and i won't defend myself if it is true... Again, pls read all my threads before you come to conclusions and check ALL my SG transfers since I came into NT coach. Pls tell me which ones I used an NT callup to influence his selling price when I sold him?

Speaking of ethics, if I want to be unethical, I can keep the said player in the NT so as to get more money from his sale when Anaconda sells him! Or I can put all my youths out there into the NT so that when their current owners sell them, i get more money! I can easily do this and noone will be the wiser as you guys can't see their skills, only I can! But did I do this??? Instead, I let you and everyone see all the NT players skills in the forum so that you guys know who is in! And I am constantly in the forum asking people to place their talented kids here so that I know who to put in the NT and based on what and why they are in!!

So having said so much... my closing statements are that
1) I do not think I mix my 2 positions as NT coach and player. There is nothing I can hide as all my SG transfers and their prices can be seen by all...

Regarding the transfer of Felix Ee, you would actually think that klvn actually bumped up the players' price using his NT coach authority. However, 750k euros is reasonable. I might have been a little jealous at his transfer price and have been biased in my stand (Now that I've lost my good friend slaynax to demolish klvn. LOL.). As an NT coach, every game you play is different. Some matches are must win and a change in players is a MUST. Some matches are sure losses and playing young yths is vital for the improvement of NT.
There might be some wrong words used by klvn in Anaconda's msg but I hope this doesn't affect the player's training progress. I know at times, this happens when ppl get all too enthusiastic about something. Trust me. I know. (I've been in SG community for a long time and all I get is 3 bronze cup? Come on! J.A.Ee and Hardy Leo have been in the NT since my club began!)
Both are great players of sokker. I hope this doesn't affect anybody's impression of either coaches and do hope they would settle this issue. As cole pfieffer says, "our issues are as thin as tissues". Play sokker, enjoy sokker and make friends in sokker.

The thing is that you're the NT coach. You shouldn't make it a business and a trade card. You should use best players, not your players and you shouldn't say that someone will play in NT if you will be payed enough. That's a disgrace.

I know exactly what it means and thanks for putting it to my attention. I am very amused about this by now. Please go and read ALL my threads on this issue, I've explained everything already!!!
What does Borkos know about what happened? Do you even know what happened exactly? I have written EXACTLY what happened in my threads! If you dun know, go and find out and read every word that I've written in the forums again!

Go and find out from all those users who have bought my SG players and ask them whether I told them if they paid me enough, I'll play the players in NT! Everyone likes to think they know alot, but most of the time they know very little of what is happening! Like I said, dun quote others who do not even know the whole picture! Sometimes, it may make you look like a FOOL! Dun do that...
Those who are very active in the forums know how I play the game and how much I have done for SG community and the U21 NT! You dun know bcos you are not active in the forum! So you should take this opportunity to be more active in the forum and participate in EVERY discussion so that you know what is happening around here, before you decide to get involved in something like this and create more tension & misunderstanding!

Those who are very active in the forums know how I play the game and how much I have done for SG community and the U21 NT! You dun know bcos you are not active in the forum! So you should take this opportunity to be more active in the forum and participate in EVERY discussion so that you know what is happening around here, before you decide to get involved in something like this and create more tension & misunderstanding!
