I've tried to arrange opponents at mixed level of ranking, but not so strong for us. Paraguay is the strongest team at the moment by ranking (42), it will be good test for our NT a week before South East Asia - Australia Cup.

As I said during elections, we are not engaging serius combat this season, it's time to organising national team, so match results are not most important, but I'll try to engage a little fight in SEAA Cup - it is our main target this season.

Participants of SEAA CUp are: Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Pilipinas, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Singapore. The draw for the grouping will be on Sunday of week 3.

So, schedule is full, I can go to administrative work then:)

Anyone of Singapore SK users who will work for National Team as a scout, or advisor or spoke person, please send me SK-mail with his application for specific role.

I will collect NT staff and Singapore managers has priority. I will wait for your applications today and tomorrow SK time. We must hurry because we should start scouting asap.

Good news is that dth Revan already agreed to be part of advisors.

I know that you can be a little overwhelming by number of my posts concerning NT and fast rate of events, but there is no other option - if we want to do something well, we should do it fast:)

If you have any opinions, questions, suggestions about NT - don't hesitate to write here.

Applications from Singaporean managers for place in NT staff = 0. This is sad a little...
But show must go on, so I will find staff members from other countries.

Second bad news is that my friend who was supposed to create and handle NT database has resigned due to personal matters. So I've dropped this case temporarily and I've cleaned existing database from inactive players and from not promissing players (to old or to poor).

I've also changed requirements for NT database (updated on NT site too). The older requirements becomed obsolete. We don't need 28 yo players with solid pace for example:)

Now the database is ready for normal work, so update your promissing Singapore players when they change their skills. Direct link to database is on NT site.

I feel strange when I'm writing still to myself:D

A new NT staff member who I will introduce to you is bizon. He takes scout role, dedicated to ATTs and offensive MIDs.

bizon play SK since 2006. He is an experienced manager, specialized in young ATTs training. A few his players play in their U-21 NTs, and other few are close to play. He never buy U-21 NT players, he makes them U-21 NT players! He can even make an attacker from defender:). I'm recomending his services to our U-21 team too, if ericchow need such a scout and bizon agree to be a scout for both teams.

I'm sure that bizon will be valuable member of NT staff.

We play with Kypros today.

I want to try different players and his positions during forthcoming matches. I don't have a full picture of entire team - some players weren't been updated since long time, their managers haven't answered my SK-mails so far.

Scouting is still running. There are 2 new defenders in NT - Elvin Cheong and Michael Wah. They replaced 3 defenders not good enough for NT.

thanks for fielding Danny Asngari and A.I. Vairavan :)

Well, they were the best this day to play their positions (=> skills & form). Keep them in good shape and form and they will play more often:)

great win in your first match with Singa!!

Tommorow i try to see the match :)
2013-09-02 11:53:20
Thanks!
Don't be afraid about brave tactic and no replacements during the match. It's tactic good to test positioning and defender's ability. Reason to no replacements is to test player's stamina strenght, expecially in second half.

I will use the same or similar tactics in next few matches, untlil I establish the best positions for players. It may result our defeats against some opponents, but it is worth to do it. Experience from this matches will be benefitial later.

ok, i understand :)

Good win! Congrats!

The strikers positions were spot on and it beats the offside trap, good work! The defence high line looks a bit unsafe to wing attacks, like cyprus did. Anyway, just my opinion, it's good to get a clean sheet! Nice!
2013-09-02 20:38:54
Thanks!

The general idea of this tactic is to be hard for our defenders (only three nominal defenders fielded), expecially against wing attacks. It shows true value of defenders and I must say that both Michael Wah and Robert Teoh passed this test. I know a little bit about defenders, because I train defenders since I remember:)

Clean sheet we owe our keeper too. We have 4 magnificent keepers. Which one of them will be fielded depend on their match day form. Keeper with superdivine form is the rock!:)

Haha. All good as long as there is height in the defence! We currently have height so thats alright. :)
