Hi to all :)
I don't write since a lot of time, so i'm here to share my work :P
My scouting work is going on, in this period our database improved and a lot of players were uploaded, and now i'm doing a war with managers that don't answer to my sokker mails..
I hope they will understand and upload their players!
After that, I will focus on more young players, that could become NT players in the future!
See you!
Go Singapore!
p.s. compliments to Wiki, that is doing a nice work and is winning a lot of matchs :)

Frankly, I'm not looking at ranking. We have other goals to achieve. Besides I've started my job as NT coach when SG was on 67th place in ranking, so I'm not very successful here:)
Our goal is to play in WC, no matter at which place in ranking we will be then. If I can advance to WC being even at 90th place in ranking - I'll take it with pleasure. Focus on the goal - this is my motto. Therefore my efforts are concentated on long term constructing, not on temporary success in ranking.
Sometimes I'm thinking that being on lower position in ranking may be benefitial when qualifications group are drawing. We have bigger chance to have more rivals in our range when we will be draw from lower pot. I must think about it deeper, maybe we should lower our rank deliberately?

more high is rank, and more chance you have to make a great qualification group!
Between the 49° to 64° place the SG NT will put in the 4° pot before the drawn...so you will have sure 2/3 teams more weak than SG NT :)

You are right of course. In theory.
We are talking about taking "cover action", when you are hiding your real strenght.
When you are seeded from 4th pot, you can be sure that you will have in group at least 3 teams stronger than you are (from higher pots).
When you lower your rank to let's say 80, and you will be seeded from 5th or 6th pot, you are automatically picking up to higher pots other teams, more weak than you are, so you can be seeded with 2 stronger teams only, because teams from 3th and 4th pot could be weaker then. They advance to higher pots not by their strenght, but thanks to your "cover action". Your real strenght is much higher than your imaginary strenght taken from ranking.
With our present strenght we will be always around 4th pot and we can count on 3 stronger teams in group. Making "mess" in ranking we are increasing our chances to have more weak teams in group. It requires a lot of luck of course, but it is possible. Maybe it's worth to try? Think about it and give me a hand with decision:)

your theory is very complicate to happed...in my opinion :)
But it's your idea, and i respect it :)
ps. In the last seasons...8-9 seasons ago or more...i had raise up the SG U21 NT ranking under the 48° place, so i had finished in the 3th pot and with more more lucky, in that season, i had win my qualification group and Singapore U21 had go to the mundial!! :)

It's only idea:) I think we both are right. We must go our own way, without looking at ranking. Every scenario requires lot of luck when group drawing take place.
Today's match:
Kypros U-30 - Singapore U-30 5:0
Kypros was much stronger in match notes (73,4:68,8), but score was to high a little in my opinion. Possesion was almost even, our striker's efficiency was tragic - 6 shots, no goal, Kypros - 13 shots, 5 goals.
Our 3 best U-30 strikers were unable to play (Gee, Murugan, Perisamy - injured) so weaker strikers played - S.H. Vairavan and H. Soh (debute). Maybe this is the reason...
Ok, who cares?:) Next week we play with Crna Gora.

Crna Gora - Singapore 0:1
We were much stronger in match notes (5 points) and in every other statistics, but again our striker's efficiency was poor - 10 shots, one goal. Strange since they all reach almost 80 note (scorer R.D. Chok 85). It only confirmes that big part of SK is luck. Too big part in my opinion, but what can we do with it? We must go follow engine's rules:)

Would be good if we can beat nations like ireland and indonesia. A little hard but would be awesome!
Be my guest, mission acomplished:)
Ireland - Singapore 0:3
Good win with stronger rival. No injuries, close game. Luck was on our side this week - same number of shots like Ireland, but only we scored.
Next week we play with strongest rival this season - Israel. We need great deal of luck:)

Well, well, well, what we got here? Historical win I suppose:)
Highest ranked rival this season (19th place), but we made it after very good game. What can I say more? I'm simply glad.
I'm not overconfidenced of course, we still have much to improve. But it shows that things are going in right direction.
Next week we play with another strong rival - this season WC finalist Scotland, leaded by one of most experienced manager in Sokker - krikos.

I like to see Singapore's match, because you are a very good tactician :)

Thanks!
I'm far from finding myself as a good tactician. Now, in constructing phase, I'm using two standard, universal tactics, best for testing players positions in my opinion. I'm only adjusting some small details before match, like defence line or strikers line, to avoid being catched on offside to often.
Time to higher tactics will come when we will be ready for WC battle:)

Singapore - Scotland 2:3
Close game with last WC vicechampions. Similar stats, except shots (Singapore 6 - Scotland 13), so our efficiency was better, but not enough to win or at least draw. But I'm pleased. Small defeat against last WC revelation is not a shame.
Next week we play with Belarus.

Belarus - Singapore 1:1
Strange result, since we were almost 10 points better in team stats than Belarus. One reason is ultradefensive rival's lineup, second reason is lack of luck:) No injuries fortunately.
Next week we play with as-Saʻūdiyya.

Total anihilation:) Today we were lucky, no doubt. We were better, all right, but not that much.
Our young keeper G. Moorthy has reach his debute in senior NT, but he hasn't much to do, so his match note 20 is very funny:). No injuries.
Next week we play with India.

Hey guys, 1st of all, I would like to say good work to all in the NT and U21!
I've been a little busy nowadays and apologies if I haven't been able to update the players or follow the NT. I've a couple of juniors I'll be selling soon. I train pace for now and maybe till next season.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but one good thing about training pace is that you get to train many players (up to 22) in a week, and you get to see the pops of more players that way. Hence, I use this as a method of gauging the talents. Is this an appropriate method to select good talents and sell the rest?
I'm planning to put some guys on the TL soon after the end of season.
