We were better, but only rival scored in match with shortest match report I've ever seen in NT since I'm NT coach. Obviously match engine is on season break too:P Additionally engine missed my two player replacements I apply in match settings for second half in case we loosing the game. Cool....
Never mind, next week we play last season match with Pilipinas.

Another bad news is pazdzierz resigned from starting for U-21. When ericchow apply for next election and take 2 voices at once, he realised that he has no chance to win. Collecting another 3 voices is impossible.
In that case he decided to start for U-21 Ireland, where people cares about their NTs.
I don't want comment this situation again. I wrote everything about that before...

WCQ have been drawn. We are in group K:

2. Portugal
3. Scotland
4. Singapore
5. Guatemala
6. al-Jazā’ir
Romania is out of range, they are light years ahead - multiple WC winners, 1st place in ranking, incredible power.
Portugal is stronger, we played with them this season (1:3), so they are hard to be beaten.
Scotland is slightly better than we are, Guatemala and al-Jazā’ir are on our level.
As you see it will be almost mission impossible to advance. We may finish on 2nd or even 6th place. Very, very unlucky draw for us. We'll fight of course, but don't expect anything this time...

Good game and good final score. Good for us I mean:) Scotland's coach disregarded us when he set such offensive tactic. We were even close to win, but two shots hits crossbar.
One way or another first point is collected. Next week we play away against al-Jazā’ir. Don't be deceive - rival is very strong. Today they won with Guatemala 5:1 and reached similar match notes to us. It will be hard to earn points.

Very close game with similar stats (al-Jazā’ir above 1 point better). Same number of shots, but only rival scored. They played at home so engine promoted them slightly I suppose.
Next week we play friendly with Pilipinas. Reserve lineup will play of course to save our main team from injuries.

Really good game made by our reserves. Rival was much better (about 6 pts), they set 1st lineup. To be honest we were lucky a bit when they missed penalty (crossbar). I'm satisfied with final score and with reserves performance.
Next week we play WCQ match against Portugal at home.

Not bad, almost exact I expected. Much better team, much better stats, match with no interesting history.

It wasn't so bad against group and world ranking leader. At 70' score even was 2:2. We missed penalty, could be one goal better. Well, defeat was expected rather with that kind of rival, so there is no reason for crying:)

Well, our chances in group are mathematical only after half of competition. With 2 points we are practically out. Honestly, I don't believe that we can beat Romania and Portugal, other teams (Scotland, Guatemala and al-Jazā’ir) will be difficult to beat, as you've seen.
Under this circumstances I start thinking about preparing NT for next NT coach. Maybe we should drop serious fight in rest of present qualification season since we have no chance to advance and focus on player's development? I mean players who may play in next qualifications 2 seasons ahead.
I think age 32 is maximum for players playing in qualifications (with one or two best 33yo), so now we should let play max 30yo players. What do you think about such idea?
Next NT coach may have his own idea about NT handling, but I think it shouldn't be very different:)
