Since El Salvador's coach broke our agreement about friendly match, we play with Al Maghrib instead this week.

Guatemala - Singapore 1:2

3 points collected, finaly! Good game with our little advantage. One injury on def B.A. Chok (21 days). We have plenty of defs, so I'm not thrilled::)

Next week we play home against Romania. Now I'm thrilled:P

Singapore - România 1:6

Standard defeat against strongest NT team in Sokker, no injuries.

Next week we play away against Portugal.

Portugal - Singapore 3:1

Predicted result, Portugal is to strong for us. One light injury on forward B.H. Gee.

Next week we play friendly with India. Our reserves will play in this match.

Singapore - al-Jazā’ir 2:2

Unlucky draw today. We were better in stats (74.3:71), shots (14:5) and possession, but we scored same times like an opponent. No injuries.

Next week we play last WCQ match against Scotland.

Scotland - Singapore 1:1

Fair result in our last match in WCQ. We finished at 4th place in our group. I think it was maximum what we can achieve at the moment. We have no power to do something more...

As I announced, it is my last season on SG NT coach position. 3 friendlies left to the end of season. I'm going to do nothing special with squad. Next NT coach will have all next friedlies season to make selection and prepare team for next WCQ.

Next week we play with Lietuva.

Elections has started. As you know I'm stepping down. It's a good moment to post a few words about past 6 seasons.

It was a good time for me with SG NT. I've reconstructed NT by proper scouting. I've restored NT database and updated it, with big help from mrtessa - thank you mate!. Now database is fully useful for next NT coaches. I hope they will use it (f.ex. ericchow last logged into database 2 years ago!).

I think I raised NT power to its maximum capability. Two seasons ago we almost qualified to WC, loosing promotion by goal difference only.

As I promissed I've trained generation of defenders for NT. They are: B.A. Chok, Kenny Kannan, N.K. Manimala and Rick Muzapar. I'm proud they are all playing for NT.

But all good things.....
I feel I must look for some new challenge. I will stay with SG community as a fan and an advisor, if any SG coach will take my advices of course:). I hope next NT coach will be better NT coach than I was.

I'm watching election's progress. I see 2 candidates so far. Silenced candidates I must say. No speach, no single "hello!", just "I'm here and that should be enough":P

I hope they brake the silence or another candidates appear, more active ones.

Fine win in a farewell match against equal rival. Good, close game with plenty bars and crossbars. What do we want more from Sokker's matches?:)

I see pure4ever decided to return as a NT coach. I wish him well, and I hope he will continue good times for Singapore.

My only advice at the moment is our keeper - Gareth Moorthy. His team just become a bot, so fielding him in NT matches is critical since there is no good training in bot teams. We don't have another keeper that skilled like Moorthy....

I'm dissapointed by SG NT performance this season I must say. Why pure4ever took control since he obviously is not interested in NT handling?

He picked one of default tactics (or it happened automatically) and this is the only activity I've seen during past half a season. Same lineup playing like in my last match with same replacements I've applied, some weeks are missed. Mid is playing as a def (R. Nan). Oldest veterans still playing. They will be useless next season (WCQ). Why younger players are not fielded?

I understand It's some kind of famous ericchow's way of handling NT (pissing off everything), but maybe it's time to change tradition a little? Even ericchow using non-default tactic, maybe it will be a good idea to make some own tactic for senior NT? Also maybe it's time to act like a madman and change lineup a little?

I'm sorry for my ironic words, but It is very hard for me to watch what is happening with SG NT now. Comedy, tragedy - name it.

I hope I've proved it's possible to have quite strong and respected national team in Singapore. I don't believe that present status is better....

To inscribe Edition 11 NT Mini World Cup

Groups: weeks 4-5-6

knockout: weeks 7-8-9-10

It is allowed to inscribe new teams until the drawing day, which will be friday of week 2 (--).

1- The team which plays home has to challenge the team who plays away.
2- You have to accept the match before Wednwsday 23:59
3- The one who has not challenged, or the one who has not accepted the challenge loose 3-0


Group Stage:
- The matches cannot be Cup mode. If it is a cup mode friendly, the result will be the first 90 minutes.
-Victory 3 points
-Defeat 1 point
-Lost 0 points

knockout:
-It has to be Cup mode. If it is not arranged in cup mode and the match ends in defeat, the winner will be chosen by a draw.
-The winner jumps to the next stage of the knockout
