Easy home win with Kenya. Another stats record (75,3), but we can't be overconfidenced, an opponent was weak today.
New tactic seems to be working, but I must wait for stronger opponent to test it completely and make some adjustments if nescessary.
One important thing I can say after those few matches is very, very short bench of good classic central midfielders. We got sufficient number of keepers, defenders, wingers and strikers, but only two suitable players for central midfielder position.
A.I. Vairavan is the best player on this position, the rest of players is short in passing or/and in playmaking. I'm afraid about injuries, or red cards, or poor form on A.I. Vairavan, it will be very hard to replace him.

Another easy victory against Tunis, but the price was to high a little.
Expecially injury for Teoh is bad news - 14 days for 32yo player is more than 14 days of full recovery. It means that he will be enable to play in next 3 matches at least:(
I cannot try all players which I want to try in those easy matches, because they are injured or in poor form (7 injured, 5 in really poor form now). Fielding players in bad form is worthless. Valuation is not objective then - they may play 20-30% below their true potential.
I'm looking forward to form jumps in next weeks.

This post is adressed to ericchow at first, because it's about U-21 NT, but I think that everyone should read it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not attending to interfere in U-21 matters, but U-21 matters are close to future NT matters, so I decided to write here.
U-21 team must play friendlies. It's very important for player's development. Player who play in any NT match, gain a little more training than player who doesn't play. Expecially young player.
We are not one of the strongest nationality in Sokker, so every promissing young player is priceless. We must care about them. What we can do from our side when we are not their owners? We can field them in NT matches to give them more training. They train faster then.
When we are not playing matches, we miss an opportunity to help them grow faster. That's bad. Look at the strongest U-21 NT teams - they play week by week, if they not play qualification or WC games - they play friendly games. Results are not most important, impotant thing is to play for players training. Play friendlies mate!:)

Today's away win against Republica Dominicana was very sad win. We loose another two key players for a long time. Gordon Samivelu for 22 days and Ellen Muniady for 32 days (!!!). What a plaque of injuries!:((
It's very unfortunate, considering our next weeks matches with much stronger opponents than our latest opponents. SEAA Cup is coming soon and we have a big hospital in NT. It will be much harder to fight without those players. I'm angry and sad, but what can I do? I must deal wit it somehow...

I thought the winger that came on did well. No worries though! We're competing for experience!
Malaysia is too strong for us, but New Zealand and Thailand should be ok! :)

Yes, Justin Goh is adequate, but not that skilled as Muniady. Besides Muniady was still in top form (divine/superdivine), Goh is in average form most of the time (good/adequate). Ok, let's say that he is sufficient for replacement.
Maybe it's my personal disapointment, because I promissed you the fight in SEAA Cup and those injuries makes this task much dificult, but you're right - we're competing for experience at first place this season, so I need to be cool:)

Haha, qualifying to the next round is a good target!
I also think we have a good chance. Especially with the recent draw with Vietnam! Although thats not their 1st team i reckon. Anyway, hope for the best! :)

I'll do my best. I hope that club physiotherapists will do the same:)
Lucky draw with Paraguay. Lucky for Paraguay:)
It's alway nice to watch a good game against stronger rival (rank 46). Stats and performance were good today and finally there was no injuries!
SEAA Cup is coming next week, so I'm counting on form jumps and fast recovery process:)

After today's first round we are on the top of the SEAA Cup group table after easy win 4:0 against Prathet Thai. But it was weakest rival of entire group, so we cannot loose concentration.
Nex match against New Zealand may be critical for us. If we win - last match against strongest Malaysia will be not much important, except fame of course:) I hope we can advance to semifinals after first two matches. It wiil save our nerves a lot:)

Well, unlucky defeat 0:3 against New Zealand. An opponent set better tatcic and win the game, what can I say more? I'm surprised with high score, three goals is to high a little...
Now the situation is very dificult. We must beat Malaysia to reach semifinals. Maybe the engine will be gracious for us this time. We got nothin' to lose, so we'll fight!

I attend to:)
However after situation with Kypros vs Venezuela match 2 weeks ago (doubled match at the same time, but different winners) I realise that's only matter of random who win the game. Tactic has nothing to do with it, it's just a matter of luck, nothing more.
