Subject: National Team
Yes, yes. I know you so long and I know that you are the best in making promisses:P
it looks like someone is scary. I am going to kick your ass in next week :)
Are you forcing me to field my first lineup against you? No way, I'm not a barbarian:)
It does not matter who will play. You are going to lose anyway :)
Singapore will never be in top 20 or in WC semifinal... to promise that, sounds like an politician
Singapore - Indonesia final score 0:3 (0:3).
Today I had a rare opportunity to watch the game live (night at work). And I'm not complaining about the winner, but score was to high in my opinion. I don't know what happened with our strikers.
When you are looking into match statistics, you can see 7-20 in shots. 13 shots difference! An opponent's strikers made every shot they can made - 20 times. First goal was scored from 25 m range.
We made 7 shots only, but it was another 12 clear situations to make a shot. Why our strikers don't shoot? In penalty area they are dribbling, running with the ball or even passing ball back to the middle of the pitch instead just make a shot. Why? They are really good strikers in good form...
Tactic is a tool to construct a goal situations. We constructed more than enough goal situations, but strikers refused to use most of them. Maybe they are underpaid?:)

Thanks for numerous participation in betting:P The winner is:
Wiki with 2 pts! (correct halftime winner)
I thought it would be nice to make a little entertainment for the community one time per season at least, but obviously I was wrong. Bad habits from polish forum, sorry:)

No worries!
I think the NT was unlucky most of the time, with the shot/goals ratio all at random. Good work though in bringing the NT up to a certain level! :)

Scheduled Island booked match with someone else, so we'll play with South Africa this week. Much harder rival than Island.
Election started, I'm giving my candidature again of course. My target is clear - WCQ and keeping NT on possible highest level. After this season experience and acquired knowledge about NT, I'm going to put more attention on encouraging people to train SG players. This is the weakest point of NT future - lack of good and/or well trained SG players.
I'm thinking about creating some kind of transfer waiting-room. It means that manager who will sell his promissing SG player or current NT player, sending an information to me a week or two earlier and I'm trying to find best club for him. I know many good managers in SK, maybe few of them will be interested to take our player for further proper training.
I'm not expecting full success with this idea, but It's worth to try. A little advertisement, recommendation and persuasion can make a big difference sometimes:)
If you are satisfied with my job as NT coach, vote for me. I'm not promissing full success but I can promiss the fight at the pitch and proper NT handling.

Our strikers have heard my words about efficiency - 4:1 score sounds very nice. Match engine was on our side today.
Next week we play away rematch with Kypros (first game we won 1:0) and it will be last match before WCQ.
We are in group A
1. England
2. Mexico
3. Peru
4. Azerbaycan
5. Singapore
6. Misr
7. Sakartvelo
We have a mountain to climb:)

Thank you for voting! My second season as NT coach has begun:)
We are preparing for WCQ. First two matches we play away against Misr and Sakartvelo.
bizon resigned from SG NT staff because he was picked as Malaysia U-21 coach. He helped me a lot with scouting, big thanks and good luck!

Well, it seems that's very hard to find opponents for our friendly matches this season (4 matches). We are to weak for half teams or to strong for the rest of potential rivals. Every 12 NT coaches I asked for friendly refused to play because of first or second reason above:)
I'm still looking for friendly matches to complete our schedule.

First of all, congrats on winning the election again! You've done a great job and the SG managers have seen your work. It takes alot to improve our NT, with only a few human SG managers around. Thanks for everything.
Currently we only have 13 human players. It's hard to ensure that our pool of NT players is bigger, given that not everyone has a youth set up or has no ability to produce many youths/season.
Sokker attracts players, but they don't stay for long. :(
So take your time to build the NT, it'll be alright if we just stick to the lower teams 1st. :)

It's very kind of you, thanks:)
I'm still thinking what is the best way to increase number of valuable SG players.
Youth setup is small indeed, therefore we cannot allow to waste any promissing youngster. To many of them goes to nowhere.
In my clubteam I train one U-21 player (Muzapar), one or two youngsters with some potential and one near future NT player (Chok). I will train more SG defenders with pleasure if I can find suitable players to first or B-team and when my account is prepared for purchase at this time.
My idea about transfer waiting-room can be useful. If I will know week or two earlier about interesting player for sale, I can prepare for this. Other managers either. I will recommend interesting SG players to other serious managers but it takes time for messaging, preparing training place in team and collecting finances for purchase if nescessary. 1-2 weeks is minimum I think.
Active SG managers are experienced most of the time, despite of this I must say one obvious thing to be certain. Don't keep an interesting SG player if you can't train him properly. Ex: if you train strikers, don't keep defenders, let other nationalities to keep your sheet clean:). Sell player to anyone who can train him by the book - you will earn money and NT will earn another potential NT player.
