Subject: National Team

I'm pretty sure they will be NT players, regarding their skills and talent. The only issue is to train them as long they will be ready. Playing in U-21 NT can help to do this a little quicker. Despite of this they are ready to play in U-21 NT now, but somehow they are underestimated by U-21 NT coach, I don't know why. Other youngsters with ratings 10 and more below my player's level are playing frequently...

For sure - I'm not trying to place my youngsters in U-21 NT by force because they are my players, but because they just deserve it. Additionally if we consider my promiss about constatnt training, they sholud play every week in U-21 NT.

Ok, let's drop it. They are playing or not - I will train them to make SG senior NT stronger in the future, even without U-21 NT support. They are players carefuly selected by me and I'm sure they will be great NT members. It will propably cost me my club's laegue position to train them as fast is possible, but I don't care - NT is much important to me.

But I'm training defenders only. We need a few people more for mids, atts and keepers. Those who will take one or more most promissing youngsters under long constatnt training. I'm counting on SG managers and their little dose of devotion to NT team future. I can't train all positions myself:)

Mexico - Singapore 4:2

Quite good final score, regarding match stats and expecially shooting stats

Shots:
Mexico 20 - Singapore 3

I can say we were lucky today.

Despite our defeat, I'm pleased. Our best striker R.D. Chok was unable to play (injury), same as our best cantral mid A.I. Vairavan.

Now last of hardest matches is coming - against England. We have no chance to advance of course, but we'll try to take 4th place at the end of qualifications. It's the best what we can do.

4th is good! Good job! :D

England - Singapore 3:1

Not so bad for an away battle against group leader.

Next week we play friendly with Senegal. I'll set reserve lineup to save our main lineup before last two group matches against Sakartvelo and Misr. If we win those two matches, we should take 4th place, assuming Azərbaycan should lose their last 3 matches against England, Mexico and Peru, which is very likely.

Well, if we want to advance some day, we must increase our team stats about 10. Mission impossible? Not nescessarily, but required more players at best international level. Defender case is settled by me, we need some people to train mids and atts...

Sénégal - Singapore 0:3

Reserve lineup in action:) Good performance, good result. I'm pleased expecially by performance of G.A. Mah - a 28yo midfielder who was recently picked up to NT. Match note 79 is impressive. He should be very useful NT player in next seasons.

Next week we play group match against Sakartvelo.

Singapore - Sakartvelo 5:0

Easy win, nothing special to report.

Next week we play last group match against Misr.

Singapore - Misr 4:0

Final group table:

1. England 12 11 1 0 47-6 34
2. Perú 12 8 2 2 44-17 26
3. México 12 8 1 3 43-23 25
4. Azərbaycan 12 4 3 5 37-24 15
5. Singapore 12 4 3 5 22-22 15
6. Misr 12 1 1 10 12-54 4
7. Sakartvelo 12 0 1 11 11-70 1

Due to unexpected draw between Peru and Azərbaycan, we finally finished at 5th place (goals difference).

4 wins, 3 draws, 5 defeats, 15 points, score 22-22.

England, Peru and Mexico were to strong for us, no doubt. Azərbaycan is about our level, maybe a little stronger than we are. Misr and Sakartvelo are weaker, so final group positions are more-less adequate to teams potential.

Our draw 3:3 with Mexico was our greatest achievement during this WCQ in my opinion. Small defeates against group hegemon and winner - England (0:2 and 1:3) were another bright moments. It shows that we can do more in the future if we start to think few seasons ahead. Let's train our future NT stars!

Now friendly matches are coming, this and next season.

Election has started. I'm giving my candidature again.

I don't need write my election speech I hope. You know me and what my program is, because it's still the same - keeping NT on possible highest level and searching best ways to improve NT strenght by constant keeping an eye on scouting and encouraging people to train Singapore NT players.

It's a long road to achieve our main goal - qualifying to WC some day, but if we don't try, we'll never see it. My only promiss is that I'll do my best to make it possible.

If you are with my long term vision - vote on me.

good luck friend!!!

I hope that all community appreciate your great work and dedication!!! :)
2014-03-24 12:39:16
Do you have a friend that can help you to Singapore U21?

In this way your project become real more fast!!
2014-03-24 17:30:37
I'm working on it:)

It is very dificult to prompt someone with proper manager skills and attitude for work with small (in Sokker scale) country. You know something about this, right?:)

But I'm trying. I'm now in the middle of talks with someone really (I mean really) great, who show preliminary interest. If he agree to start in elections, we will have unique chance to hire one of the best persons around Sokker for this job. Let us pray!:)

I always thought that one of SG managers want and can do this job on professional level. SG community deserves it. It's a pity that I was wrong, at least until now...
Maybe ericchow finally wake up or someone else want to takeover U-21 to do things as it should be done? Otherwise we must count on managers from other countries or just stay behind forever without trying.

Hi wiki!

I'm here to make you know that I candidate myself for U21.

Now, I can only hope that Singapore's manager could thing I will be the right guy to take the team :)

See you soon!

Hi,

As I wrote above, I'm talking with one of my friends to ecourage him to start in SG U-21 elections. I can't say yet who is he, but believe me - he is top U-21 specialist which every U-21 NT team should want as their U-21 NT coach. If he decide to start, I will give him my full support.

But if he refuse to start, I'm going to support anyone who want cooperate with senior NT at first place, and who is an experienced manager of course. I hope that you are such person:)

I think that we don't need a person who treats NT as a temporary toy only or as his personal business farm. We need a manager with long term thinking, devoted to higher, common goals. I hope that SG community think the same way.

So, welcome and good luck!

We all hope to have a long term manager for both the NT and U21 as we continue to produce U21 players. Given that Singapore only have less than 20 human managers, it's a small talent pool for the NT.

Not sure if it's possible, but I rmb seeing "bot" player on transfer list because they are picked as future U21? It would be good if the U21 can do so.
2014-03-25 23:31:56
Unfortunately not. Players from "bots" are placed on trasfer list only when they are current NT or U-21 NT members.

But this is not all. "Bot" team must drop to lowest league at first or at least to lowest league where not every teams are leading by human players. Placing NT player from "bot" on transfer list take place when new owner taking control on such "bot" team. Money from transfer goes to nobody then, of course.

In countries with many league levels it may take a long time before "bot" team meets all this conditions. In SG it should be done much faster. So kick off Unnecessary Theatrics from S League as fast is possible!:)

It's important to keeping an eye on interesting players from "bots", and when "bot" finally meet conditions for takeover, those players should be pick up to senior NT or U-21 NT and they will be transferlisted then in any moment (when new human player take team control). I got few "bot" players under observation, and I'm always keeping a few free slots "in case of emergency".

Well, I have bad news about person which I wrote about. Finally he refused to start in SG U-21 elections:(

Now I can tell who was he. This person is pazdzierz84, current coach of U-21 NT Polska. He won U-21 World Cup twice, including current season. He refused to start again in Poland, and he is looking for a new challenge. He took under consideration U-21 Singapore (by my suggestion) and U-21 Česká republika.

Today he decided to start in Česká republika. He told me that community's activity was the main reason. He reviewed both national forums and told me he is overwhelmed by silence here. I can't blame him, after activity on polish forums he must be overwhelmed seeing almost only my posts:)

I hope that U-21 coach bring new impact in writing on SG forum.
