mrtessa to All
Hi guys!

I'm here, again, to candidate myself for Singapore's U21 :)
This is the third time that I candidate here, and I hope this could be the right one ;)
In this season, I worked as scout for NT and U21, and I talked a lot with wiki to make a project for NT, because also a little community like SG could become a good NT with a project behind.
I helped with database, that had some problems, and now I think is good.

But now, the first thing to do is present myself :)
I'm Alessandro, i'm italian and i'm 28 yo. I come from one of the most important communities of sokker, a community with a lot of good tacticians, and I hope to have learned something from them :) in fact, last 3 World Cups were winned from italian managers (ale70 and vikingo67).
With my team i'm in serie D, but I will try to go to serie C next season.

About my ideas:
I like to change tactics to try to find the "weak points" of the other teams, but the tactic that I like more is 4-4-2, with a wing.
But to play in that way we must have the right players, and watching the database, I think we haven't.
Other tactics are 4-3-3 (in U-21 is a great tactic IMHO), 4-5-1 and 5-3-2.
I like to change tactics, so you will never see me playing at the same way.

If you will vote for me, I can't promise you that I will always win and we will go to WC (also because this season we have only friendlies, but is good to make experiences for our young players), but I promise you that I will create a project with wiki (i hope you will vote for him because is a great manager) to help U21 and NT to become more stronger!

Like I said in another post, about young players and academy, "we got two purposes: help with something concrete SG country, trying to bring the most interesting players in order to follow the best training and growth, and in the other hand we hope that more people can find new perspectives to begin to approach the world that revolves around the national".
I hope that will happen :)

If you have some questions, I'm here for you, happy to answer :)

See you, and go Singapore!!!!

Alessandro

SG managers should vote for you. I mean those managers who care about U-21 and NT.

Why they should? @ all:

I've always said that SG manager should lead one of NT teams. I've trusted that ericchow will find more time and interest for proper U-21 handling. I was wrong.

ericchow is an experienced manager, no doubt. But obviously he hasn't time or/and consistency to handle U-21 properly enough. I don't expect some great achievements, basic proper handling is what we are talking about.

I'm curious - are we playing U-21 match tomorrow? I don't see any, like many times before. Does ericchow remember that tomorrow player's age is changing, so some of them will be automatically removed from U-21 NT before match? Why only one or two players on the bench? Where is scouting, any basic scouting? Why much weaker and hopeless players are playing when good players even aren't in NT?

Many simple questions. To many.

Don't get me wrong, It's nothing personal, ericchow is a nice guy. But he should step down for best SG NT interest. mrtessa proved he is good to take his place, so vote for him. If he win, we should see better new U-21 very quickly.

I hoped to have to answer to some questions when I've seen that there were a new post in my thread.

There are no questions, but what I read makes me happy.

When I've candidate myself at last elections months ago, I promise to all the community that if I would had lost, I liked to help you all how I can, so with scouting and elaborating the database.
As wiki and ericchow can say, I manteined my words.

Now, I would like to do more for SG.
I would like to help your community with a programmation that could help your NT to become more stronger, with good players, in next future.
To do this, we must have a program, and me and wiki have one.
There are a lot of little communities that have good NT, because they trained their players, not only to make money for clubs, but also for NT.

Next season, U21 will make only friendlies, and is the best moment to start a project with young players.

I think I can help your community, and not only with words.

Regards,

Alessandro

I support you by many realistic reasons.

1. Scouting
You worked with me as a scout all season. And I'm very satisfied with your work. You've found few players for NT or those who are close to NT. I'm fustrated a little bid about that, because I should find them before. Shame on me:)

You've updated our database on huge scale and established contacts with many owners. Great job!

Scouting is a key skill for U-21 coach. Your scouting skill is on highest level. I have no doubt that you'll chose best players to NT.

2. Devotion
It's third time you are trying to take this position. Show me another non-SG user with such desire:) When you lost last elections, you did not give up. You've started your scout job to help SG in other possible way.

3. Manager
I'm pretty sure that you will not forget to play friendlies. I can count on your proper lineup, with all players on their best positions and with all bench players.
From lecture I learned that you are an experienced tactician who like watch rivals, so I believe our U-21 results will not be defeats all the time.

And last, but not least, you share my vision about both NTs:)

Wiki to Wiki
Only one day left to the end of elections. Vote on mrtessa, he is best option for U-21!

You will see how different U-21 condition can be. It is always verification tool in your hands - next elections, in case you will be disapointed by his U-21 handling. But I'm certain that things can't be worse than they are now....

Let's make SG stronger than ever!

Only few hours left and elections will end.

I don't know what I have to expect, but I can promise to you all that if I will become U21 coach, I will work hard to help SG community to become stronger than now.
As you know, I'm SG scout right now, and I know, watching database, that we haven't really good U21 players ready to fight for WC qualifications.
But this season, we will play only friendlies, and this is the right time to make young players play, to increase their experience.

The most important thing that I want to do, according with wiki, is create a project that can help both U21 and NT to become strongers, because with programmation also a little country can have a bright future.
Right now, we are following a lot of players that in future will be usefull for U21 and NT, we have sent hundreds sk-mail to know all about SG players, and we will go on with this work.

I have time to dedicate to you, and I want to help.

I hope you vote/voted for me.

Mrtessa

You're absolutely right.

I don't understand why 60% of SG active users wish to stay with poor, abandoned U-21 in their own country. I must respect results, but I need to understand reasons. Maybe I missed something important?

You are not the first who made such observation. SG U-21 is a mock around Sokker. We are loosing many young prospects thanks to present coach's attitude. It looks like conscious acting against own country, and in my opinion SG users are simply offended.

Maybe someone who voted on ericchow can teach me about his secret reasons? I have a lot to think about it...

Hi to everyone.
Now that elections ended, is time for reasonings.
This was the third time I tried to become U21 manager, and this is the third time I arrive second.

I must say the truth: I'm sorry to have lost. But not because being a U21 manager is the most important thing for me, I'm sorry because I'm seeing a continuous degradation in U21 handling, and I can't do anything to improve the situation.
I did a good work as scout, hoping ericchow would find the desire to manage U21 better than how he did, but I was wrong.
It's clear that he doesn't care about U21, probably the only thing important for him is being U21 manager.
He doesn't arrange all friendlies, he doesn't bring better players in U21, he doesn't try to win matches (always the same tactic for a lot of seasons..).
But what can I say: he win elections, so for SG managers he is the best option.

Last thing: I want to say thanks to 2 managers that voted for me, and to wiki, that exposed for me during elections :)

Good luck!

Oh man, I'm davastated propably more than you are:( The worst thing in all of this is I don't understand why it was happened again. Really, no idea.

I'm a member of few federations, when we discuss NT teams leaded by members. We got many statisctics, additional informations, etc. Friends asking me about SG U-21. They cannot believe that team with such good potential can be leaded by such poor coach so many seasons. What should I answer them?

Countries with same number of users like Singapore are at 40th place in U-21 ranking. They are playing in WC often. Good U-21 condition affecting senior NT. Singapore currently is at 88th place with no signs of any progress. Talents are missing from the start or not playing and then missing. Scouting is not existing. About matches I wrote everything before.

So why? I simply can't believe SG doesn't want be proud of both NTs and wish to stay in hopeless coma.

Same friends are asking me why I still want to be a SG NT coach under this circumstances. Well, my answer is I'm crazy:)

I hope you stay with us as NT scout and advisor. SG need people like you badly. Look at the bright side - I'm not going be NT coach eternally:)

I'm sure that everything went fine with elections. No worries here.

Question is why people still voting on present coach? It's third time when mrtessa lost U-21 elections here. He is more than qualified for this job, devoted and persistent. What we need more?

Eheheheh..

Thanks for your words wiki.. I'm proud to see my work valued ^^

About U21, there is nothing more to say.
2 people tought that ericchow is the better choice for U21, and I must respect that.
I don't think he is, and reasons are clear, but this is another matter :P
