Sofokleous played in really amazing form, as well as Ercakica. They 3, including Keser, were our best players today
Only little bit unsure looked left defender Drakos, but second half was much more for him. Tsingis cought very big chance and thanks to him we had a clean sheet :)

In the second match of our group Paraguay made a draw against Norway, which is quite suprise for me, because I expected easy win for Norway

This is going to be very hard match for us and I would mark it as one of the most important in the season. Paragauy U21 team is definitely stronger than us, but not so much, that we could not get some points in match against them.

Good news that Zoitsas is finally coming back, as well as Özyiğit. Bad news is that Keser has slight injury, I have to ask his owner for how many days and after that I will decide if he will play or not

this is killing me, another red card for Zoitsas in 20 minutes, in the penalty area of opponent !! insane !! together with defenders who are the best at making chances for opponent strikers ..

i wanted to play offensive football, but playing without main offensive player and with defenders mistakes ..

yo many mistakes... and red card... i think so the 4th place will be for us ok

im quite sceptic as Costa Rica beat Paraguay and doesnt seem to be weaker than they are

I watched the match gain, I was satisfied with performance of our midfielder, especially Sennaroglu, was man of the match imo, Keser, Ercakica and Cagda were not bad too

as I said the problem was in defence, defenders had big problems to stop strikers and on the other side, our strikers could not pass through opponents defenders, though midfielders prepared some good chances for them


I start thinking about next match against Panama U21 - I would like to discuss it with you on Association forum

If We had Zoitsas, we would draw, because the only opponent´s goals was after mistake of player on position where was supposed to play Dervis. And we could have even very high chance to win after some brilliant Dervis pass. As well as we could highly win If our strikers one some air duels in Costa Rica penalty area, but they lost everything !!

hell ! Next Time I promise to do everything to kick their asses ! ;)

Players marking:

* 1. S. Tsingis - 5 - he did some good saves, but he was not able to catch one goal and because of that we lost, I dont know if Athanatos would be better, but next week I will try probably him.
Tsingis big minus was his horrible kickoffs.
* 2. T. Özdil - 6 - not so bad match from Tommis, he was lack of stamina at the end of match, but before of it he did his job without problems
* 3. N. Kittos - 5 - I expected little more from this player, He didnt win many duels and his passes could be definitely beter
* 4. A. Misos - 7 - he did pretty good job and Im satisfied with this guy, he also did some small mistakes, but his general performance was very fine
* 5. I. Çağra - 3 - arrgh, horrible player .. I think about if he is able to keep the ball on the field, because all his passes went out of it :S fortunately he was not so bad in tackling
* 6. T. Çağda - 4 - this was not his day, If he won more duels, the match would look much better for him, this was important position for us, but he didnt handle it
* (46' O. Erçakıca) - 7 - he did pretty better than Cagda, won some important duels and got in some chances thanks to his technique, his first center to the penalty area was awesome, only pity that no one from our strikers is good header
* 7. E. Drakos - 4 - On this position should be Dervis, If he was there, we would not lose. I dont say he did so bad job, but he was not self-confident enough and it was visible
* 8. Z. Keser - 6 - When he get the ball, he did his job , he run among the line and no one could stop him, but problem was in his passes to our players in penalty area, there was not any correct :(
* 9. D. Sennaroğlu - 9 - amazing performance again ! This player is becoming leader of our team. He is very usefull in the midfield, win many duels and his passes are great .. what else to want ? :)
* 10. Y. Nabi - 6 - He is becoming more midfielder than defender, because his owner train technique, so he will play on this position more times in future and I hope that he will be little bit better than today
* 11. V. Kotsonis - 4 - and this marking can be the same for both players, I hoped that someone
* (30' H. Özyiğit) - 4 - of them get in the chance and save us, but they dissapointed me both ! without better strikers we cannot win important matches :(
