Subject: U21 Demise - Darren Patterson

I want to say thanks to everyone who helped Cyprus in anyway last 2 seasons when i was in NT leadership. Cyprus NT teams were in very bad condition when I came here. We were at the last position of countries rank and level of our players was so bad according to it.

We had no active users, no one was interested in the game and no one communicated with the others. I tried to improve the situation, get decades of new users, I helped them with the game and wrote some articles for newbies. I also tried to overtalk current users to be more active and I tried to get them more interested in the game, which means they will be able to control Cyprus when I wont be here. I want to thanks orestios, polpolpol, giorgos papas, maxpower, panayiotis, atahualpa, panahand, juliano mourinho, cypriot and the others. Thanks to you I can see that my job was not useless. I want to thanks my friend krteček as well, altough he was not active in first half of season and i was not active in the season and due to it, we could not cooperated how i expected before season


My second goal was to improve players base, mainly improve level of young players (U21 teams). I tried to do it through players in new teams, it was very hard job, but after long negotiations, many players were saved (actually over 90% of U21 players are saved from new teams). Our U21 team is currently stronger than NT and that is only good and it makes me to be sure that i did the right job and that Cyprus will only grow in the countries rank in future. Actually I see many interesting juniors are comming from your youth schools and that is only good, because it means that you are able to keep Cyprus in good hands in future

But now I have no more time and enough powers to continue in my job with such verve as before. So i put demision for my position and give the chance to the others

I also want to thank you for everything you have done - It is gonna be boring without you involved in the NT but the new coach has to continue the hard and good work you have already done.

i can say in sk for cyprus we have now the Before Darren and After Darren period! I hope you will keep give us tips and keep helping us with the young players and the new one will be so good as you for the U21.
