Subject: How to attract more users ?

I still put myself questions like: why there are only 46users in sokker and only few of them really active ? How is that possible that hattrick play 596!! (and 25 is currently online) cypriot users ? I wrote to all of them several times, but it bring only small effect. What´s so better about hattrick or other online games ? What can we - ordinary users - do to make the game more confortable and interesting for new users ? What can we do to make older users more active ?

Is there anyone who have answers on at least few of these questions ?

sokker is much better than HT but i believe most players dont come because of the low number of users

Well, a simple question.

If you are good at a game, why would you start a similar one from the beginning? The difference between Sokker and Hattrick is after all quite big, but most of people don't think about it at all.

First when they come to sokker.org and probably register, they just think that ok, game like Hattrick, but I can just watch the matches. What ever?

So on, if some guys play Sokker and haven't ever even heard about Hattrick and then somebody tells 'em about it, they just go there, probably register, and think:

'' A similar game as Sokker, but here I can't even watch matches and I would have to start from the beginning. It would also take such a long time to even get up in a league. I've already played Sokker for time and I am good at it, so no interest in this game. ''

So, that was my point. At the beginning they look very similar, and it would take long time to get better in this game. If you undestand, 1 season = 3 months, and if already played HT for like 2 years or more, why would they do the same thing again? Most of people, I think, agree my point.

What can we - ordinary users - do to make the game more confortable and interesting for new users ? What can we do to make older users more active ?

Good question.

But, the sad truth is, we can't do anything 'bout it. I agree that Sokker is much better game than HT, but HT is much older, so there are simply more players ---> those players tell about the game to their friends ---> they tell to their friends etc.

So, most of people have surely heard about HT first, and actually would have to lead those, who have just started HT, to Sokker site. That is, imho, 95% of the chances to get new players.

Of course there are exceptions in these things, but...

wtf ? im just working on my seminar thesis about Tanzania and I was just curious about if this country exists in hattrick. I did really doubt about it and now I see there are 58 active users there. This is crazy.

Yeah. It's super mad, I'd say. In a country, where hardly even a computer exists, are still 60 persons who play a game in internet. Wow...

i wonder why no one is active on cypriot forum and it is because everyone is rather watching greek NT, why do we even try ...
tomorrow you have age update, you can bring your friends in the game maybe they receive some superb 18yr in their team, help U21 and get a great boost for the beginning, it´s up to you .. i hope you realize cyprus is your country and not greece

Maybe I would just add that the best time to join the game is from tomorrow until Sunday! In such a case your friend may get young team and moreover he will get financial bonus on Monday :)

Man, you are always taking things harsh. This is not the case. Just because we participate in the Greek association and watch the topics doesn't mean we favor Greece over Cyprus and anyway we are Greek-Cypriots and we equally love Greece and Cyprus.

But there is really no connection to this to why we don't write so much. We don't write in Greece either. It's a matter of wanting to get involved more or write more and as it seems most people just want to play the game quietly, you can't force them to participate. Choosing a small country has its disadvantages and this is one of them.

ok campaign here is done for me, i wonder if there will be at least minimal response (in number of new users)

You withdrew from the elections?

to avoid problems with admins i had last time when i made campaing for new users and when i run for elections at the same time

all 5th leagues done (133 people) and i must say this kinda sucks after they made restriction about min 10s between two messages, it is horrible job

our clever admins had to delete 12 out of 13 new teams without any reason ? Even that all of them currently play in hattrick ! do you still wonder why cyprus has so few users I dont and Im so disgusted about it !

I think that it is time for Cyprus to have a promo leader to advertise sokker in gaming or other football forums .. I think that this is the only way :)

i think nothing has sense if admins destroy are promoting job this way

unfortunately they are doing the same thing for years ... But if a promo leader can bring some new users , lorenzos (tutor) can help them immediately , so they will have a fantastic start :)
