Hi, guys! As I promised, I'll run for the elections this time in Cyprus. Probably everyone of you knows me quite well, but still I could write an election speech, just because it's always a quite regular thing to do. :)
So, a few seasons ago, I was still working in Cyprus. Helping the U21 coaches, and at the same time getting a lot of experience in making tactics, and of course in everything else as well. Those things were the most important things for what I am now, and special thanks to ostulc and Sheep. (former Gadfly). Basicly because of them, I was experienced enough to get elected in Finland.
Two seasons ago I decided to run in the elections for Finland's U21 coaches job. Finnish users seemed to have trust in me already, and I got elected for the job. The first seasons went for the qualification stage, which I ended in the 1st place with Israel, China, Malta, Japan, U.A.E and Uzbekistan in my group. That season I did get a huge amount of experience as well, and that thing can be noticed as an example in my tactics, if you compare WCQ tactics almost 2 seasons ago, and the tactics nowadays. There is a huge difference, in the best way I'd like to say. :)
This season was probably the greatest success ever in my SK career. First of all, I finished in the 1st place in WC group stage, by beating Norway U21 and Ireland U21, plus by playing a draw with Slovakia U21. The next few weeks were probably the most interesting weeks ever. After beating Belgium U21, Russia U21 and Romania U21, we were in the final! Sad but true, we lost the final to France, and even with final score of 1-0. So I leaded Finland's U21, from about slightly in top-25, to the 2nd best U21 National Team in the world.
Some of you, or even all of you, may think that why would I, after 2 wonderful seasons with Finland U21, change one of the best National Teams in the world to Cyprus? Basicly, because now I've done my job in Finland, and I saw that EVLOGHTOS, as well one of the guys that I respect, will retire from his job as Cyprus NT coach. That moment, when I saw the message, it was already sure for me. I was getting more and more interested, and after talking a while with ostulc, it was clear. I'll run for the elections in Cyprus. I got my access in the database for the Senior side as well, and last two weeks I've been checking out Cypriot players, getting more clear that what level team are we talking about, and already thinking of future.
So, if I get elected, the things in Cyprus NT could change their way quite radically, but maybe you'll get used in my style doing these things. Anyhow I will give the job 110% focus, just to get some results after the next season as well. Maybe the next Senior WC will be for Cyprus as well? You never know. :)
Anyhow, hope even this speech gave you the information that's needed, but if I forgot something, and even if I didn't, questions are even more than welcome. Just use your keyboards, mates! :)
Best of regards,
~ Mysi

Thanks. :) And Mr. Late will set himself in the elections 2 hours before deadline? ;)
You were an unknown manager when you came to this conference for the first time asking for our vote, we didn't give it to you - we had good alternatives though :P
Now you are world elite:) Thanks for still caring for this job.

Thanks for your kind words. :)
And just to add;
As Cyprus will be out of the WC next season, there will be 16 friendlies we will play. Mostly I'd like to play with younger, still not with the youngest, generations, as an example matches like U25, U24 or something like that. Of course we could try as well Poland or some else hard country with our best players against their U23, or our U23 against Uzbekistan or some else weak country. Still these things aren't actually so important right now, as there still is a lot of time for friendly scheduling, but just wanted you to know what do I think of the next season. :)

We already saw your coaching abillities and i am very happy that you choose our country to be NT coach!!!Your level is for stronger countries and thats why you already have my vote!!But only if you promise to us that you will stay for 2 seasons(or maybe 3 if you qualify for WC)!!!!
I'll promise I'll stay for at least those 2 seasons, maybe even longer. I am very interested to see what happens in WCQ after 3 seasons, when the golden generation players are already 26y old and trained almost as much as possible. I would love to manage that team in the qualifications, probably in the WC as well. ;)
Don't worry, it won't be that late :) I just want to give it more time than few minutes from school ;)
+! to Mysi.If you become coach..i took before two days the updates of skills from some players of Kypros in order to Help next coach of Kypros..;)
