They're a bit too old as it is but it's handy to have extra players around for the Cup. Also with the start I've had so far I think my reserves like Sanabria and Shevlin should have enough about them to stay on track.
I've got a bit of money lying around but dont see anything that needs majorly fixing. I might just trade up one of my youths.
If I were you I'd go with a keeper- the new engine makes them worth it. I'd say get a striker as a lot depends on your striker with that formation but prices are huge for any kind of quality.
nice win, biy, had my eye on the cup game but i wasn't expecting a trouncing like that!
Out of interest, does anyone actually get stamina pops from secondary training? Because they never seem to happen
Yeah- I get a few but you'd think with how little is needed to train a level with stamina they'd be a bit more frequent.
Yeah thats what i've noticed. What normally happens though is they then drop the level the next week. I'm wondering because i have a coach with Unearthly stamina and we've gained nothing.
It's probably the inbuilt drop in stamina that happens with age is already there all along to a lesser degree. General training would then keep it more at a steady or marginally increasing level for younger players but not give you big gains. That's backed up by my last two stamina pops being for my two youngest players.
I've traded coaches (or i will have if i sign the contract)
The new guy
Willem de Lint, age: 64,
wage: 27 450 € country: Nederland
formidable coach
Training effectiveness:
tragic of stamina, weak of keeper
unearthly of pace, unearthly of defender
unearthly of technique, unearthly of playmaker
unearthly of passing, poor of striker
The old guy
Conrad Mota, age: 46,
wage: 33 425 €
club: Chiaroscuro, country: Danmark
incredible coach
Training effectiveness:
unearthly of stamina, poor of keeper
unearthly of pace, unearthly of defender
very good of technique, unearthly of playmaker
unearthly of passing, unearthly of striker
I figure it makes more sense to have a coach with technique than one with stamina (when it's seemingly ineffective) and striking when i dont train forwards.

It'll be interesting to see if you get a few early stamina drops without some general training in it.
I just checked and in the last 14 weeks (or whatever plus shows you) I've had 6 stamina gains 1 of which dropped down again afterwards. Considering most of the other players are at formidable stamina it seems a good return

I'll be looking out for it but stamina training at the end of the season should correct any damage (I'll switch coaches for that week). I got fed up of not being able to buy a player because they had no technique. This should hoepfully sort that out.
Had i lost that, it would have been a major injustice. As it is, it's only a minor injustice. We were clearly the better team and there were some seriously dodgy offside calls in Cremartins favour.
I do often wonder about the offsides in this game actually :/. 7-0 win, good to get Jason Hughes back on the scoreboard, and with a hat-trick no less :)
