Good point for you (and for me ;) ) - don't even consider trying something similar on Wednesday :) I'm finding games are much tougher to win when you can't rely on your uberstrikers slamming a few goals in out of nothing because form is a concept they can't get their heads around. Luckily for me they'll have a midfield behind them for the cup :)

I wouldn't worry. I had to sacrifice training in the last round and play my 1st team so I didn't lose any more fans. Since I'm getting beaten anyway I'm probably going to put out my youths. They can't go 2 weeks without training unfortunately :/

It's all about the training really, I'll have to make a load of conditional orders now to give the guys I had to take off tonight a full weeks.

Yes please. More space for my mids and wings to operate in.
I'm also having a problem with players missing and have had to improvise. I'm still fairly confident of a win though.

I'm surprised to see only 5 fouls. I think they were all against my wings from behind, quite how you got away without a yellow card is a mystery.
