Subject: League matches chat

well my guy that got sent off today has only average technique... hmmmm - will have to look at tech affecting sendings off at some stage.

after season i would like to get stats of fouls of every player in my team, we will see how technique important is:)

wow got real lucky in my game - sub keeper getting both goals.....

absolute nightmare with the injuries recently. didn't even realise stapleton would be out for the game!

will have to see what I've got for next week, only have 1 fit striker at moment

There might be a few of yours out still limping I reckon :) On the plus side for you I haven't much of a defence at the moment- without my mid screeners you'll get a few chances for your sub keeper ;)

just wish i had brunton back from the game - massive blow :(

This is probably the first time in Sokker I've been worried about my midfield being steamrolled :) I've gotta hope my strikers can get me the win I need.

That should be the league (barring a Gyro upset next week) and looking at the game tonight it's well deserved if you get it.

could happen. well happy with the point, especially after the sending off. might have actually been a bad choice to go with the 2 +6 day injured guys as Fairclough played fairly poorly

I think a draw was fairly harsh on you. You looked the better team and had plenty of chances to win it.

I only just won my match with a last minute goal. It was a bit of a freak game to be honest but Dumbs dropping points should mean promotion is mine now.
As for the other leagues. We're down to a shoot-off in division 3 and 4. Emmigrants will win the league as long as they dont lose to Evillbunny next week and Polo's Raiders only need to a draw against Ajrizse to take division 4 by a goal difference of 1.

About time. They've managed to walk the league without having an exceptional team

Everest could take them i think but doesn't have the time to sort out decent tactics.
I see that league just continuing in the pattern of Dumbs winning the league, then losing the playoff and going back to winning the league again. I can only see them promoting by the automatic spot, not by winning a playoff. I dont think any division 1 team has won a playoff in about 3 seasons.
