Better defence or better strikers. They've got Cully and a great keeper so outplaying them isn't enough unless you dominate.

16 shots to 10 is a good upper hand though.

wait till i have a decent midfield, where they can play deadly passes and can win a 1:1 situation. but that will take some time and some transfers.

16 to 10 is good but not enough when there's a significant difference between keepers and forwards. I've played them numerous times, won shots by 15+ and still only beaten them by 1 goal because of that damn keeper.

My midfield is always improving as well, plus the rest of my squad. In this game 30 is not a good age for a striker, he'll be losing skills at a rapid rate and once his form goes down, it won't go up again. Old players are a good way to lose money

but he makes my team more succesfull, which means more income, more fans joining etc.
a 24 year old 70 rating scorer would be way above my budget range.

You paid 2.8mil for him, aged 30, his highest mark is 72 and he'll have lost about a million off his value by the start of next season, so 1 million loss in about 2 months. Zilber cost me 1.9, aged 24, highest mark 66 and if I sold him now I could possibly get a million profit.
If you buy them young you can train pace + random pops for a couple of season. It is getting more and more difficult to get bargains anywhere though.

i think its good to have a few olderish players in there to help ya compete though at first.. and from the looks of things so far he is managing that- increasing revenue masively as a result which will make up for the lost money on the player in my opinion... athough i do also think 30 is a bit old..although i have seen some massive bargains in players of that age...

I lost 5 fanclub members. What the hell? I only lost 3 when I lost to Beavers and now I beat them and lose 5. This system is f**king retarded.

its all based on mood from what iv seen..and yeah its stupid... i gained 18, if i go down one level, i will probably only gain 2-3, 2 levels down maybe start losing guys... does my head in

Yeah, my mood increased one level to "they now believe in the club" from they were depressed or something. I still lost one supporter. this week Although i lost 7 last week so i guess they are leaving slower even though they believe in the club. They are a finicky bunch!

its just about performances against lower teams... the thing is, to get that mood up, it wont do to win against the bottom 4 from last season by big scores even, its all about getting good results against the other 3 top guys... which is a pain..
the thing about it is, it gives teams like saarumarc a good income boost, and will even the leagues out more - although you guys will suffer at the top, and provbably as a result, future |NT prospects, as you seemed to produce most of em
