Don't think GB will last that long in the prem. Most of the players are over 30

will be 34 before they have lost a decent amount of skills though i reckon..
they suffered a lot from injuries this season

They did, but even so they're quite beatable since they'll never change their tactic. Their forwards aren't amazing so a decent defence should keep them out

I'm the living testament that a decent defence can do wonders for you in the Prem, even if the rest of your team is only ok :P

My own team is the same - either original players or club youths except the keeper. Should be interesting!

Fecking laptop has broken. Thankfully I think it's only an engine problem so even if it's not fixable I can take out the harddrive but I've lost access to all my files.

Cheers. I could have played them further up the field. There was a lot of space between my attack and Baile Ard Aon's defence. Evenso, I still managed to be offside 3 times when the ball was coming from my own half so I'll have to look at that.

I'm looking at the average position of your strikers and yeah, they're either not far forward enough or they're retreating too much. It's far better to play them higher, keep them there and risk a few offsides than to have them picking the ball up in midfield and needing to run through the defense, which unless you've fantastic tech strikers is never going to work.

Thanks Nin. I had pulled them back for my last league game and decided today to leave them there as it had worked reasonably well in the league game.
