Thanks Nin. I had pulled them back for my last league game and decided today to leave them there as it had worked reasonably well in the league game.

2-1 win tonight against my closest rival. It was a good game, very close all the way. Both defences played well putting is some great tackles and both goalies made a handful of nice saves. Ullen did okay in midfield but he was caught in possession a few times and is still a bit slow.

Sucessful start to the season, the rest of it should be pretty easy now.

1-1 against tactics :) same good start as last season

arse bandits. Played my reserves by accident and lost against one of the worst teams in the league. trainees aren't worth it, might just sell them off again

yeah but when theyre trained up they make you a nice bit of money.. but true.. switching between teams is a pain alright..i managed to screw up last week against gb rovers.. think i can actually get a result against them with my main team also so was very annoying

Playing this game without trainees is pretty much unsustainable. Take a look at Ajrizse and Korona Kielce as examples of teams that have abandoned juniors, they got short-term success but now they're suffering for it because they've old squads and no money to improve.

it would be so much easier if there was just a default lineup setting :/
Then even if you forgot to set a team, at least a decent team would go out instead of a heap of young lads and rejects.

In hindsight, it's probably lucky i did it against a crap team, if I lost to one of my rivals it'd have been a disaster

I do, but when you forget to set up a lineup, having a default would ensure you don't end up with lots of below-par players. Is better to mistakenly play your first teamers is all...

got a few lucky results here and there though i feel..also will have to chop and change my team soon. have a midfielder who is dropping skills fast since hes 30, and need to replace him, also 2 of my first set of trainees are hitting 24 this season also so will have to move on probably :/
looking at recent prices they are worth 3mill each or there-there abouts... will do some defender training then next season i hope caus i have a few guys are gonna be borderline U21 next season even at the age of 19
