Yup-technique like that makes him pretty much impossible to stop unless it's a straight on tackle. He's so much better than any of our players it's kind of funny :)

The userbase doesn't help but it doesnt need to be as big a problem as it is. It's not the size of the league that determines the players you get, it's the setup. If the 8 top clubs were as well setup as Bad Tactics and GB Rovers we'd be much stronger. I'm trying to copy their system and i've just spent a lot on bringing in great assistants, which will mean i'm 70k down a week on the economic updates. It'll pay off eventually though.

hmmm how good are people's assistants? have 2 outstanding and 1 formidable myself - might be able to afford better but unsure if it would really gain me much more

I have 2 brilliant and a magical, I might upgrade them more this season to 3 magicals. I think it was Nin made an interesting point at some stage on assistants that even if they add a very small amount to training over the course of 4 or 5 seasons that will multiply out to a worthwhile benefit to a player.

i have 1 incred, 1 formid and one very good atm. got 6 pops on thursday so am happy with it but im losing same as NIN a week...and i dont get it back in attendance! am gonna have to ditch the incred this week id say which is annoying caus hes 18k p/w which is very good for a coach like him from what i can see!

I'm upgrading at the moment, i've 1 Outstanding (who is going to be sacked shortly) 1 brilliant and 1 Magical. I'm suprised by GB Rovers coaches, i expected much better.

I'm currently on a Brilliant main coach, incred youth coach and an ousstanding and an excellent as assistants. Looking for a cheap formidable as a third assistant atm

hehe I can probably afford to improve a bit at this stage - have always been unsure of the benefits of super-good assistants. might have another look around and see what other countries think

I was the same but then i looked at the youth players Bad Tactics have and i cant see any reason why they'd be so far ahead of mine apart from the assistants. Its the same with other clubs as well.

well how many pops and random pops do ye get a week?

i got 4 pops in what im training and 2 random pops this week.

and i gave my setup. be interesting to compare what others get... assuming 90 minutes playtime for 10 players in the position u train..

Well its only worth counting the random pops per week. If you know the talent of your players then you'll know how many main training pops you should be getting each week.

I've lost all my information. Things seem to have been quite random this season and i've put that down to my trainees getting older and not having good enough assistants. Trying to fix that now but i'm not looking forward to the effects it has on my finances.

well im assuming that the assistants have an effect on how fast the main training pops also no?

if its only random pops, then i cant see what assistants are doing for me :P
