well im assuming that the assistants have an effect on how fast the main training pops also no?

if its only random pops, then i cant see what assistants are doing for me :P

I suppose the better your assistants are the more random pops you'll get.

No the assistants have nothing to do with the main skill training. The random pops come from a combination of the main coach's other skills multiplied by the overally level of the assistants

im also gonna assume its 3 assistants. so 2 assistants would be losing out on some potential gain.

once again i have made an important learning and will be expecting at least 2 random pops perweek :)

I think the idea is it's the combined value of the 3 assistants, multiplied by the coachs other skills, then multiplied by talent.
For main skill training Unearthly is worth .25 combined with talent of 4. For random pops it's supposed to be around .05 but until someone buys 3 Unearthly assistants its not possible to be accurate

to put it in mathematical terms its (.25/talent) so every 4 weeks training for that talent=4 and unearthly coach it =1 = a pop

training obviously counts too. 90 mins = 100%? , maybe 100 mins?

from the way ur saying random pops are about .05

maybe its the main coaches skills x average of the assistants

i.e say main coach is unearthly in striking(unearthly =.25) and 3 unearthly assistants (=.25)

.25x.25 = .0625

im sure there are number factors for all coach stats
(magical = .2)
brilliant = .175
etc

I actually wrote it all out exactly like that and then decided it was too complicated.

Random pops

(A x B) x C = 1 Level or 1.

A = Main coach skills
B = Total General appraisal of the 3 assistants
C = Talent, where 4 would be .25, 5 would be .2 etc

Or

(A+B) x C = 1 Level or 1.

Where the coachs skills are equal value to the assistants and it's the 4 totals multiplied by talent.

Ok I now feel ashamed of my 3 excellent assistants!

Is 27-30k about right for a brilliant coach then or is it worth shopping around for a while?

Also as a side point - say there is a brilliant coach at 27k wages and another at 37k wages - do you think there's an argument to be made that one is high brilliant and one is low brilliant?

Some people have suggested there are sub-levels but i think they'd be fairly small for assistants. Sub 30 for a Brilliant coach is pretty cheap.

i kind of interpreteted one post i read that the more skills a coach has the higher his wage.

i.e 2 coaches cud be almost identical but one has say brilliant keeping, the other magical.

they are both still brilliant coaches but one is slightly better than the other so i think he has higher wages.

my 2x brilliants are just under 30k p/w so yeah thats the target really...
iv seen them at 26k quite a few times but they tend to cost 500k+ so i dont think its worth it!
my assistants from NIN's evaluation only work out at formiddable so dont complain :)

Anything below 42k is pretty good for a Magical. I dont know about Unearthlys, they dont come along that often.
Its worth shelling out on the transfer fee if it's going to pay off for you.

The cheaper guy is going to cost you 160K less a season so paying a 480k fee more for him works out in your favour if you keep him for more than 3 seasons.

was just wondering what magicals and unearthlies were gererally costing.
not gonna be upgrading to them till a few seasons time anyways! if ever! im gonna have to be in the premier before that happens, or else if a 3rd division appears and boosts out sponsors income that cud help either :)
