Subject: NT Ireland
yeah have trained docherty as far as i can at this stage. time to start bringing through new talent. going to offload both of them over the next couple of weeks
Richard Chawla is the last player who got in to the team, mainly because of injury problems of Fitzgibbon.
Unfortunately he's not one of the Kerry Cetnarskis is he? ;)
unfortunalely no:( and there isnt any possbility to change his nationality, becouse he played one game for polish NT:)
Bah, why do these players always come up when i've no money to buy them. It happens every time
perhaps because you never have any money? (....like me :D)
At the moment we have 63 players in the NT.
Tomorrow or in two days I'll reduce our team, I'll only keep the most important players.
Reason is that I've already seen several times that an overcrowed NT was given to the new NT coach, who had to fire some players. This led to discussions and it's not really a great start for a NT coach.
Therefore I'll fire them and be the "bad boy", it allows the new NT coach to focus on more important things than discussing about fired players! ;-)

I did exactly the opposite and kept players in the squad because i felt it was up to the new manager to sack them. Not that i had that big a squad anyway, i stuck fairly rigidly to under 45.
I remember a discussion in another forum ...
The new NT coach sacked some players and was suddenly criticised by a group of managers (could have been the ones who didn't voted for him).
I also think it's easier to recall players than to sack them.
I always send a SK-mail to the manager if I either sack them or take them to the NT. And of course a manager likes it much more if he gets a positive message. The new NT coach can send him this positive message, while I send the negative ones. And for sure the managers who got a positive message more likely cooperate ...
