Subject: New managers
Yep, and I'd strongly recommend not adding new division unless it is really really necessary ;-)
yeah.. currently only our first divisions are getting a bit stronger which is good.. 2 new teams came up to our division this season - one was there last season and still hitting only 34 av marks, the other 32 marks.. both were auto promotion - best teams in second division, and both are gonna get a max share of 6 points off each other :P
other first divisions looks to be improving too, which is good, but until the second division starts getting more compeditive, i dont want an increase in leagues...
even the current system of 50 days of inactivity is high IMO, as in all fairness teams gone that long, users most likely wont come back!
good to see an increase in irish users! think its the polish users who stay playing longest though i find

whats up with scotlands leagues.. having 16 3rd division leagues..?
does that mean that the winner is auto promoted each season so from bottom league?

na i had figured that it was going to be similar system to what we have now - 64 new leagues opening up, but if its only that, its only an extra few teams, so its not too bad..
at the moment we should only really have 8 second division leagues with the way things are in my opinion.. or definately up until now thats how it should have been!
16 leagues spreads new users out too far, and the league lacks competition

It's not possible to delete half of the leagues of a division, it's only possible to remove the whole division.
I think it's ok the way it is for you right now, you have a stable growth, if it continues the second division will be more or less full soon ;-)
I was/am still fighting for a solution regarding the removement of half of a division. In Switzerland for example we'd need to remove half of the bottom division since almost one and a half year (RL), but it's not possible :-(
That leaves us with half of all Swiss teams being bots, there are even leagues in the lowest division with only bots, some of them only have 1 or 2 managed teams. Surely not the right way to keep managers ...
But until now the devs couldn't solve that problem. At least they're now more careful with extending leagues and divisions. That's why I'm pretty sure they won't add new leagues or a new division in Ireland in the next couple of months ;-)

can it not be introduced so that all future teams are put into the first half of the divisions..? or at the start of the season, transfer all teams who are owned by teams for bots in the first half of the divisions..
then again its a lot of work i guess... really doesnt make sense to expand with so many leagues at once in my opinion..
as you say, ireland is growing, but in terms of compeditivity, i compared our first divisions to scotland, and some of their teams would give our top clubs a very good game... at the moment theres a few massive gaps between teams...

It's not possible as far as I know.
And it's not a good idea anyway imo. That would mean that bots will promote while managed teams end up losing their leagues.
Especially in countries with not that many users (or without a stable growth) there's a huge gap between the strenghts of teams within a league. That's a big problem and there's no easy solution ...
Expanding the divisions instead of the leagues could reduce the gap within leagues, but it could cause problems with further expansions ...

true i guess... :/
guess you have to look at the longterm problem eh!
am hoping in 2 seasons so we can have a need for expansion! at the current rate, i cant see it happening, as the teams at the moment as i said are crap in bottom divisions :P
actually only 2 teams made it over 30 marks average this week in matches! theres 3 first division teams that got lower... will be a while before those divisions get compeditive with the first divisions..
this was probably the first season that i remember where the qualification matches between first division and premier were fairly compeditive!
