how long do coaches last before they retire?
was just looking at 67yr old coach...wondering if i buy him will he just retire at end of season :)
2008-04-23 08:57:59
I never heard of a coach who retired...

it seems to be a theory...
2008-04-23 12:05:47
same as i.
2008-04-23 14:14:24
he only retires when u sack him
2008-04-23 14:17:31
so he insn't on transfer market then??

Are you sure about that??!??

Cause normally trainers get listed after beeing sacked
2008-04-23 14:20:52
if the coach is young enough then he goes on transfer market but if he is for example abut 70 and u sack him then he retires
2008-04-23 14:35:41
Didn't know that...
But there are several 70+ years old trainers on transfer market...
2008-04-23 14:40:34
hmm where is he??my guys need an expierienced manager;p

Highest bid: 2 CHF [kielbasa z aligatora]
End of bidding: 2008-04-24 12:00

Szczęsny Kopański, age: 74,
wage: 16 560 CHF country: Polska
formidable coach

Training effectiveness:
formidable of stamina, weak of keeper
formidable of pace, outstanding of defender
excellent of technique, magical of playmaker
formidable of passing, excellent of striker

So I guess trainers will NEVER retire...
2008-04-23 14:45:38
Well thats what one of admins said a while ago on polish forum so i just believed him;p
2008-04-23 15:03:33
admins are not always right :P

I would ban him for that statement if I could :)

So I guess trainers will NEVER retire...

no! they can retire - when the trainer is old, and you sack him. he could not be back on TL then. im sure about that
2008-04-23 17:05:52
its true :)

happened to me...
2008-04-23 18:24:40
Can you tell me what you call old??

75+??

(I'm just wondering)
2008-04-23 18:57:01
i dont know exactly... the decision about retire is random, so its possible that this one coach thinks "i'm to young to end my career!!!";)
