Srbija is the first team in this season which is better than we are.
They have the better players for sure, nevertheless we have our chances to win. I guess it's gonna be an interesting and very close match, hopefully we'll have the luck on our side!

Yhey have a lot of users alright and a pretty hot team. Best of Luck Geg!

That was really frustrating to watch. You set everything right but the difference between their strikers and ours was huge. Our defenders looked like statues against them :(

Serbian defense was quite slow i noticed, too bad we dont have stikers that could exploit that.

I liked the tactics, despite being unlucky with the result, i say good job Geg.

One out of two shots was a goal, even Poland doesn't have that efficient strikers, it's just frustrating!

And imho the def. MIDs were 1 or 2 fields too offensiv, the coulnd't stop the long balles.

In theory that tactic should have worked, in practice it didnt. The defence was a big problem, not only because they didnt perform but because they were isolated from the midfield by not pushing up enough. There were also at times big gaps between the defence which they passes straight through. Everything else was fine, although no-one performed that well either.

i prefer to play with 5 defs in games like that...

Sorry guys, a very disappointing result ...

The first goal against us can happen, the second one ... hmm ... I don't like to blame the engine, so I say it was a wrong positioning of the defense, the long ball shouldn't have gone through them.
In the 10th minute their winger got a red card, but that wasn't good for us, from now on all passes went directly to their strikers ...
3rd goal, a shot from outside the box, 4th goal a long pass, 1 on 1 situation. 5th goal a shot from an impossible angle, the 6th goal was offside I guess, but unfortunately Docherty touched the ball and it counted as a new situation and finally the 7th goal a long pass through the defense and a 1 on 1 situation.

Our goals both were long passes through the defense.


In the offense the tactic was definitely ok, we created a lot of good scoring opportunities, Matthews even could have had a few more shots, but he sometimes waited too long with shooting and therefore lost the ball.

Crossley, Coyne and Dean were right in the free space, Crossley and Coyne sometimes a bit too offensive though. But they played well.

I'm very disappointed by the performance of the def-mids. They had a lot of bouncing balls and they sometimes got tackled from behind, I don't know why, their technique skill is high enough. Anyway, I think that was the clue why we lost the game. I better should have played only with 1 def-mid ...

The defense was a bit too offensive, that's why all these long passes could happen. I didn't expect their strikers to be that good, they sometimes just walked through Hanrahan and Docherty ...

Reidy didn't look too good, especially on goal 2.



14 shot against us is too much, that was the problem. Before the match I was pretty positive that we wouldn't receive more than 10 shots ...

In the end the result is 2:7, though we had more ball posession and less play in our half and also the amont of chances were almost the same.
Even though they have the much better players, it was possible to beat them and that's why I'm very disappointed at the moment ...
