At club level defending for strikers can be lethal, against top defenders though it's a complete waste.

@Nin: Matthews does have excellent defender, but it doesn't help much in a NT match.
Curley also has a high defending skill, and when playing against U21 team his def-skill was very useful. But the senior teams defender are too good to lose the ball ...


@Sanabria: Well, he isn't that bad in defending. Ireland doesn't have many U21 MIDs who have a better defender skill! ;-)

The same I wrote that in seniors it was hard to take the ball probably oh with team of the level Zhōngguó or Guatemala...

And as for Sanabria it I wish in order to how best developed under the eye shaneteam ...

No offence intended, but I think you'll find almost all of those people who voted for you were polish managers playing in Ireland

To be fair I think some of these Polish guys live in Ireland.

In sweden we have an expression like "blue eyes" meaning that U see what U want to see :D

Most of the new teams have polish as language, of course that can be natural but how many have U seen discussing in your fora?
