I WILL HAVE 800K WITH THE TWO PLAYERS I HOPE...............

WILL YOU DO THAT?

AND WITH 800K WHAT LINE WILL YOU TRAIN?

DEF OR ATT?

OR GK?

THANKS

It depends on where your best young player plays.

You're selling your best player and my bet is he'll go cheap. You could have trained him up :(

my initial tactic with coaches:

unearthly in what i want to train for 4-5 weeks as main coach
as high a level as i can afford - 1 to 2 assistants
highish level coach for youths

What do you think?

Sounds fine, what are you training? I'll see if i can find you a decent coach

welcome to sokker man.
It would have probably been best for you to get relegated in the match today as you might struggle in first division..there are soem very good teams who have had a long time to build good squads..
congrats on winning anyways. clearly you cant be too bad!

and yeah. just make sure you keep finances in check too.

id go for stamina first. it really is important. get all your players as high as possible in that. it allows them to play to the best of their abilities for longer periods of the match.

id also think about getting programs such as sokker organiser click for link to organiser and apollo click for apollo DL link

they basically allow you to track progress of players weekly training..and have some other useful features aswell. i suggest you check them out. personally i think apollos is better for getting started with but theyre both handy (all you do is download data once a week and it keeps track for you)

being a beginner id focus on squad and training for 2 seasons before starting on youths. its costly if you want to reap any benefits from it and its best to have a good squad to work with in the meantime.
check out NIN's newbie guide there aswell in the newbie forum and ask any questions you have there or here too. its got some great info and he and the other guys in the top division are great for advice ;) just click their name and then mail along the top. theres usually someone online who can give advice ;)

Usually they'd struggle but they're in a very easy division. Perfect place for building your team.

First of all thanks for the advice, it is very much appreciated. I read through most of the fora especially the beginner ones - and I got some valuable information. I must say though that I recently moved to Ireland but am not new to sokker. I have been playing for about a year and a half but I left my old team. :( Glad to be here though :)

with the minimal funds that I have I got a couple of coaches - nothing great but should get me going for the time being. If you do find me any reasonable coaches please tell me about them. I tend to stress attack quite a lot and train pace, striker and technique. This team though has more of a midfield rather than attack so will see as I go along.

yeah man best of luck and keep active on the forum with any questions u have ;)
am sure ul be grand once you get going. a young team is gr8 to start off with too. its handy to have players U22 caus they train faster than older players..
best of luck in the coming season. an its only a game so dont worry :P
