Well the guy who wanted to train him as a striker isnt online so i'm happy. I would have strangled him if he'd been within arms reach.

I'm going to try a big bid to put everyone off :) Otherwise this could go on for ages

didn't work :) Got him in the end for about 2 million more than he's worth. Some idiot kept on bidding against me :)

I set my limit at 5.2mil. I'm not rich enough to be able to afford these luxury players yet

It was only the fact that the Cologne team bidding against me looked like the worst place for him to go to made me bid that high. If it had looked like a good training team I would have bowed out.

:) I couldn't understand why you'd bid so high when he wasn't worth it. And your transfers make you look like a bit of a daytrader :)

Player and money stay in Ireland, good end result. Ideally we'd trade between ourselves far more often.

Maybe it looks like but for sure I am not a daytrader.
I have bought a great trainee a few years ago for a similar price and imho it was a good deal and I tried to do the same once again.

How is a good training staff looking like in your opinion?

An opt in to a 5 overseas players in the lineup might be fun :)

Unless you have 5 unearthly coaches your training staff aren't as good as mine :) I was just worried about how long you'd keep him (something like doing some stamina and selling him on wouldn't heve been the best thing for him for example)

I think that'd mean at least 1 Irish player not getting trained. Wouldnt matter if they were rubbish but then who wants to play someone useless?
I'd like to work out who is training what so we could look at some system. It's doubly difficult for me to get Irish mids at the moment as you're buying any that come up ;)

For sure my training staff is not as good as yours, but your worries would be causeless.
I would have kept him for a long time, but I am happy that I did not have lost the bidding agianst a polish guy.
I think it is good that he stays in Ireland!
