Subject: Season 12 Youths

2008-12-06 16:28:15
For sure my training staff is not as good as yours, but your worries would be causeless.
I would have kept him for a long time, but I am happy that I did not have lost the bidding agianst a polish guy.
I think it is good that he stays in Ireland!
2008-12-06 16:30:10
Tnx fella - I only had a few seconds to make a decision about your team, I'm sure he would have been fine :)
2008-12-06 16:34:13
I'm now broke so you might have a bit more success in the next few weeks :) We seem to have a lot more teams these days with a focus on training Irish players which should help in the long run. I think Identifying and buying any prospects is the important thing. I know we've lost a few of my best juniors to teams that wont make the best out of them.
2008-12-06 16:36:28
Scott Kemp is on the TL atm- he's not the most rounded junior you'll ever see but I've made NT players out of less...
2008-12-06 16:39:17
Yeah that bloody annoys me. The problem is lower leagues clubs with no training setup, saving their money and buying players too good for them. Because the top clubs usually arent interested in our best youths we end up losing a lot of prospects.
I doubt there'll be another decent mid prospect anytime soon.
2008-12-06 16:41:33
Because i don't train technique he's not an option. It's easier just to look outside Irish players.
2008-12-06 20:03:04
Would be good to set up a friendly league next season where the condition is no more than 5 (or even 3?) non-Irish players in your line up.
2008-12-07 00:50:30
i dont even have 3 irish players :P
2008-12-07 01:18:21
Tut Tut :)
2008-12-07 11:04:40
well im going to get there eventually :P

my youths are all crap is all :P

except my magical whos getting places n can hopefully make the U21 squad for next season +i hear U21 nt was being made a reality for next season... more that it was aimed to be introduced than anything, but if we spread the rumour its gonna be made happen :P
2008-12-07 11:15:58
There are signs the U-21's might be coming. I'd hope so anyway, it would mean we could have an apprentice Ireland manager.

As much as i'd like to say he's a defender, he isnt. Another striker.
2008-12-08 03:53:04
agreed caus of the PM..

although i have a few defender trainees who have terrible PM, althouugh it shows i guess :)

still think tech is more important than those skills (as was shown in my match against welchy) og from a corner... terrible times!

and that guy had very good tech!
